    Default clip in extensions

ive got some clip in extensions that i wear from time to time when i want a different look.. but they always seem to slide out easily, i am forever going to the toilet to check them and clip them back in.

Just wondered if there is anyone out there that has any tips for keeping them in place?

Where the clip is suppose to go twist that small section of hair then slide the clip on top towards your head. Get them as close to your head as you can. I wear clip ins and I have thin hair so this always works for me. If you're still having problems spray the twist of hair with a little hair spray.

I knew a woman (maybe it's a thead here, can't find it) who would take the clips off and put the hair on a small hair clip. It was prety cool! They look very real, just like you are clipping your hair back with those little clips that are made to hold our real hair back or up...was cool.

I put some hairspray in the area, then tease(backcomb) it a bit, more hairspray, THEN put in the extensions. They seem to stay pretty tight after that.

Ill give the twisting a go next time.. ive tried using spray but it seems to not do anything!! I have quite thick hair i think the weight makes it difficult for them to stay in

Try using smaller twists of hair for the clip.

This is what I do and it works for me. You can also try teasing it from the underside of the hair.

I am currently using the clip in extensions while I let my hair rest for a few months til I put in the infusions again, which BY THE WAY, did NOT damage my hair at all. I use the clip ins EVERYday, and sometimes dont take them out for 2 days. I found this AWESOME hairspray that holds like freaking GLUE, but washes out completely!!! Its called pump it up, its sticky sticky, but holds sooo good!!! You can get it at wal mart in the hair section.

When Im putting my clips in, start at the bottom of course. I part the hair where I am going to put the clips, then spray my REAL hair around the parted line where I am going to place the clips. let it dry for a minute or so, then put the clips in. let it dry for a few minutes before you put hair down to put the rest of the clips in... they should feel TIGHT on your scalp, but dont cause ANY discomfort!!!

I sleep with them in, in a big clip, and when I wake up they are still holding on and not coming out!!!

    good luck!!

This is what I do as well. I never feel like they're going to slip.
