Default Humidity made my curls go limp

Last night, I had a date, and I spent an hour curling my hair with a curling iron, and I looked foine, if I don't say so myself. Then I went outside into the San Francisco fog, and my hair was limp within five minutes

I gather from google search I'm supposed to look for a "humidity-resistant hair spray" but I didn't come up with any specific names. Suggestions, pretty please?

I know a layered hair cut can reduce the effects of humidity, but I'm not sure about products.

    Hehehehe... you're a soggy cookie!

I use the Pantene Pro V Texturizing Hair Spray. http://www.pantene.com/en_US/texturize/index.jsp

It is fucking fierce. Use with caution!

I say try a setting spray like Redken Hot Sets. I've been using it about...oh, about 5 years with great results although admittedly I've not tested it in a humid environment. I do have fine, thin, limp hair however and when I curled my hair with it, it would hold up through hours and hours of sweaty stage and lap dancing.

Humidity in San Fran? Nothing compared to Texas! I'm used to it. Fortunately I have flat hair. However, I did rave about a new Redkin volumizing mousse in anoither thread.

Its part of the "Trix" line and has been keeping my bob full and bouncy!
