Here in Texas, I bet that would run all season, and no one would notice. But NY, you're right. That's just ridiculous! lol
Texas I could understand, but an upscale grocery chain in Greenwich Village?? Come on!

Least he forgot to put the "Perfect for Ramadan" signs up!!![]()

Why don't we get a deal on bacon too?
Because there ain't no tits on the radio
Do they have a special on bacon-wrapped cheese-filled shrimp too?

Ummmm...

HA HA!!! You just have to laugh at idiots....there are way too many of them,,if we didnt laugh we'd cry!

Ahahahaha!
lol...that's gotta be photoshopped, right?
I forwarded this to my brother and his reply was, "Is ham bad if you are Jewish?"
Considering that we're not Jewish that wouldn't have been so bad except for the fact that from K through 12 he went to a predominantly JEWISH school! What a tard.

he's just trying to hustle... he he

Ahahaha....
Well, the important thing is that they tried, right?
\
i know Jews who eat ham. But, yeah, it's retarded.
That reminds me of when I was a freshman in college and some group I was with ordered pizza, and this Jewish girl started chowing down on the pepperoni. I was surprised and asked her why she was eating it, and she said she didn't keep kosher. I was all, "Well... okay... but you're Jewish! Jews don't eat that!" It seriously boggled my mind. It had not occurred to me before that point that a person could identify as Jewish and eat pork. I remember just sitting there completely astonished!

Wow some peoples kids
Hmm... none of my Jewish friends or immediate family members abstain from pork. My Dad is pretty Jewish, and he and I eat BBQ spare ribs with our fists when he comes to visit me here in the South. Ditto for my best friend from childhood. She is far more observant than my Dad, goes to synagogue every Friday, etc, but she eats pork, shrimp, cheeseburgers, etc. My more strictly observant Jewish relatives do not eat pork, but they also keep kosher... I don't know. I always took it as a kosher thing, i.e., kosher = no pork, not kosher = pork thumbs up; also, my peeps are Reformed.
That said, the sign is hysterical, because in my family it's still a faux pas to eat pork on Jewish holidays, even if you eat it the rest of the year.
Drought was over. Where was I? Drinks were on the house.
For mixers, my love, you'd poured--what?--even the rain.

Yekhefah is a convert, hence her shock. Not one person in my husband's family keeps kosher. Though he mentions, "Ham always seemed worse than bacon, for some reason."
Yeah, I knew several Jews as a kid who inspired me to convert to Judaism myself, but I was always taught that Jews don't eat pork. So seeing that girl eat pepperoni was like watching a cat eat brussel sprouts or something.
I don't keep kosher myself, but I still don't do pork. I know a lot of Jews who work that way.
