I love cookies. I have pretty much one a day...usually a lower cal option like a biscotti or a snackwell. But there have to be cookies out there that taste good and have complex carbs and stuff. any suggestions?

I went and googled a couple keywords because I'm curious about this too, but couldn't find something exactly healthy enough (at least in my mind). But I did get some interesting ideas for ingredients (if you'd like to try making your own.
Crushed Shredded Wheat cereal (ingredients: whole grain wheat and wheat bran, but no yeast, and no added sugars, has dietary fiber, protein, and nutrients in it though)
Pure Honey (to sweeten)
Blackstrap Molasses (if you're ok with the sugar content, it contains vitamins and minerals compared to regular processed sugars)
Mashed Banana (sticky, and to naturally and lightly sweeten)
Pumpkin Puree
Egg
Nonfat Yogurt (saw a recipe online substituting for milk)
Raisins
Various Nuts (walnuts, cashews, etc....)
Shredded coconut
Pure Almond Extract
Pure Vanilla Extract
Pumpkin Pie Spice
Ginger
Cinnamon
I like a 100 cal pack with my coffee in the morning. There are a ton for only 100 cals. I like the Oreo ones a lot.
I know this isn't "healthy" but it's not super loaded with sugar compared to a real Oreo.
^ Yeah, they use fake sugar instead, which is even worse for you than regular sugar.
You are better off eating regular cookies from a health food store that is made with unrefined sugar.

Diet cookies suck balls and are bad for you as they have 2920450453835 additives.
Best thing you can do is make them yourself, or get gourmet type cookies with just the basics like butter, flour, real sugar, etc. and employ portion control.

They're based in NYC but you can get them delivered.
vegan, gluten, dairy ... allergen free and sweetened with natural stuff like stevia and lo-han.

they sell these organic whole wheat cookies at my local grocery store (not the health food store, just a regular grocery store) and they are DEE-VINE!!!!! I love them so much! I don't have any in the house right now but next time I get a pack I'll list the brand and ingredients. mmmmmmmm they are so good!
My mom has a pretty good recipe for healthy cookies. I'll get it when I see her. They're pretty good too.

i have some peanut butter cookies from ARICO. Gluten free and dairy free and made with organic grains..they aren't bad, chewy.

kashi makes good cookies, but Whole Foods is a better option because their bakery makes them. If you don't have one of those near where you live (like me), try a local co-op.
the healthiest cookies are probably the ones that you bake at home so you know exactly whats in the ingredients and you can pick and choose your own ingredients then buying it from somewhere

This thread is making me want cookies dammit. I'm trying to go 10 days without them. Today = Day 1.
I had some pretty delicious vegan cookies from Whole Foods the other day.![]()

i rarely eat cookies, but these are the BEST EVER!!!
