Default nausea every day for no reason.

I am in SF, and I'm really sad because my foot hurts and it hurts to walk, but along with that I have been nauseated for 2 weeks straight now, every single day for no reason. I haven't changed the way I've been eating, I've been eating healthy, but every day without fail I feel nauseous about 5-6 hours after I wake up, and it lasts until I fall asleep at night. I've never puked from it, but I've felt like i was going to. It's really annoying and uncomfortable, and I've tried everything- dramamine, hot tea, drinking more liquids, resting, getting fresh air, breathing slowly, saltines, etc. nothing works.

I don't think I'm pregnant, we've been using condoms almost all the time, except 1-2 times when we didn't have one but did it anyways (pulling out)- yes I KNOW this is not an option.. but I'm aware there is a small possibility.

I feel dizzy along with the nausea, and I'm really sick of it. Could it be morning sickness because I'm pregnant or is morning sickness only in the morning?

UGHGHG Help... what can i do to make it go away???

Morning sickness can pop up any time of day or last 24/7, there are no rules. You had unprotected sex so pregnancy is a distinct possibility. How long has it been since your last period? If it's been more than four weeks, get a pregnancy test.

In the meantime, try ginger. Slice a piece of fresh ginger root into a cup of boiling water, let it steep for a few minutes, and drink the tea. Or try cold ginger ale. Ginger is good for nausea.

my bf just came back with rice and tofu and veggies from a thai place, I had like ... 1/2 cup of it. I feel a little bit better. I sent him to get some ginger ale and whatever else he can find at the health food store that has ginger in it for when we're traveling and i feel like this. It was horrible when we were driving tuesday-- an 8 hour drive-- i thought it was just car sickness, but it was just exaggerated nausea... I know it started about a week and a half, two weeks ago- because I remember being on stage at the D2 feeling nauseous and being in the dressing room and feeling it too. UGH! I'm not used to this-- i have NEVER felt like this before. it's an all new sensation.

eh, but i'll keep you updated. hopefully it goes away and it's just stress and not morning sickness.

Dizziness and prolonged nausea sounds like symptoms of anxiety to me. I am certainly familiar with them.

if your period is due in a week, and the nausea started a week -week and a half ago, MS is not highly likely. it's to early. MS doesn't start till the 5th week or so, for some eariler, but I've never heard of it starting right at the time of ovulation and conceptio, which a week ago would have been for you, approximatly.
still..good to test if your perid dont show on time. cause of the pullin out thing.

It does sound exactly like morning sickness, but Kaylinns right, if it starts super early maybe it would be about 2-3 wks or so. Could it be dehydration? Another thing could be anxiety. The stomach acid caused by anxiety can cause nausea without you really noticing heartburn.

the only reason i think it may be MS and not just anxiety is because I am EXTREMELY sensitive to hormones, i take BC and i get extremely nauseous, I can't even take it. I'll keep you updated.. I did get ginger ale and crystallized ginger and it seems to help.

Do you have a heightened sense of smell too? When my MS first started my nose got horribly sensitive too.

yes. I definitely have a heightened sense of smell and it makes the nausea worse. Today just walking back to the hotel from golden gate park was hell, the smells were everywhere- gasoline, meat cooking, people's perfume when they walked by, chinatown.. eww.. everything made me feel like I was going to hurl. I haven't puked from feeling nauseous though, that's the weird thing- it's just a really uncomfortable feeling. I'm laying in bed right now sipping ginger ale on SW and i feel a little better. My skin has been breaking out really badly (usually it's super clear, even when i'm pms'ing).. so now i'm starting to add it all up and get worried.

Sounds like you're pregnant to me. Everything you've been saying came out of my mouth 6 months ago. I used to have good skin and then BAM! I couldn't stop the acne. I felt super nauseated a few weeks in and it didn't let up for months no matter what I did. It lasted all day and all night but I normally only puked in the morning after breakfast. I wanted to barf at the smell and sight of raw meat and while it was cooking too..and can't forget the smell of eggs (still makes me sick)..ugh and the coffee aisle at the grocery store..I almost lost it there one time. I've noticed everyone's perfume/cologne a lot more also.

I agree with Kaylinn in that you ought to get a pregnancy test done soon to see if that's what's going on. I hope you feel better soon.

One time i had morning sickness symptoms from a little before the time of my missed period. No one believed me and they thought i had miscalculated when my period was due but it is very possible. Good luck and hope you feel better soon.

^^ I'm sorry Audrey I guess I shouldn't say "NOOOOOOOOO!" because I have always wanted a family and I love my partner and know that he's the one I want to be with, but I was hoping to wait a couple years until I've finished my degree and have more stability-- but I guess things happen for a reason... IF i'm pregnant. I don't even know yet, I just have symptoms. I really need to stop psyching myself out- you guys aren't helping!!! do not drink SW water......gosh.

I will be surprised as well.

Seriously this is everything I felt before I was preggo... BOTH times. It also kicked in before my period was due so thats why I was in denial.

^My husband was in denial for the longest time until I was finally able to get a freaking positive pregnancy test. I noticed my boobs changing..growing a tiny bit bigger/more full..only one nipple was tingly *shrug* and I was bloating pretty bad which was unusual because I don't normally when I get my period. Oh, and can't forget about the horrible acne that started too. I kept telling my man that I was pregnant and he was like, "nooo, nooo, you're crazy! those all are related to PMS! your period should be here in a week or so" and rambling pregnancy statistics to me and whatnot. I told him I know my own damn body and I am pregnant. Like a month later I was finally able to get a positive and was able to say, "I TOLD YOU SO!" haha
