Default Ipods are the new Medicine Cabinets

If you wanted to totally breech the privacy of your girl/boy/friend to get some much needed personal insight, you would opt for the medicine cabinet or the phone, right?

    Fast forward to 2007/2008.

    You get his iPod.

What more do you need to know before swinging tongues in the moonlight then the fact that his "Lifting" play list has Boy George in it?

What could possibly put this bombshell into perspective like The Faint, Lords of Acid, followed up by Ani Difranco?

I was fixing/Recovering an iPod for a client and really...it's not the songs....as much as it is the PLAYLISTS that are totally telling. A playlist called "Time For Lovin" had R.E.M., Milli Vanilli, and Tom Waits.

I know some would say phones, but the user is often, very in tune with what they have on the phone. SO OFTEN an Ipod photo user forgets to be selective about what Picture Folders they want to sync.

SO! What would you find on YOUR one's Ipod?

    ^^^ That is hilarious

It reminds me of an embarrassing story that i will share. It wasn't my ipod it was my music player on my computer. My friends were over hanging out drinking, of course listening to music. I had selected a nice playlist and all was fine until they started looking through the music files. Somehow a porn file had gotten mixed up in it and next thing you know some chick is bent over and screaming getting spanked and fucked across all of my (Huge) computer screen. I don't think ive ever moved that fast, across the room to shut that down. You can't really explain that either, you just have to MOVE on!

That happened to me in my local pub. They have wireless and I was trying to download some kids shows for my step daughter (who wasn't there thank god) and one of the files opened itself up and there was a chick taking it up the bum with the sound up and all. I swear I teleported from the bar I moved so quick.

Um, my bf LOVES music from 'the old country' as I call it. His mp3 player has TONS of old old old Bosnian music and a teeny bit of new Bosnian hip-hop. It's crazy, I feel like I'm at some gypsy festival or something when he has it on in the car. As far as music in English, he's got Tupac, Michael Jackson, T.I. ... I forget what else. Our tastes are much different. But I can jam to Billy Jean!
We don't have an iPod so no scary porn stories here.

Ha! This is funny and has me self-analyzing. The Hubby got me a Nano for my birthday last year. I guess the only weird thing is I have about 10 hours of Final Fantasy game music on mine.

    ^ 400,000 bird songs. Seriously.

When she plays her iPod in the car, we'll be sitting at a traffic light in Santa Monica and suddenly the whole car erupts in a cacophony of birds.

The first time it happened, I insinctively ducked and started swatting around my head like somebody trapped in Hitchcock's "The Birds."

This topic seems so familiar... Maybe 'cause I wrote a similar post a week ago?
