Ok. No BS----Mario taught me to type!!!

    It is so freaking fun.

Don't worry, even level 3 would still be tough for adults, because it involves all kinds of numbers, punctuation, etc.

Now the question is if you can still make it work on today's computers....

I've seen and used about 3 other programs and none were as fun or helpful as good old Mario....

OMG, there is the BEST game that helps you with your typing. Typershark. If I'm not mistaken it's free on Yahoo games.

I also have a small typing tutor program if you want something that is off-line (doesn't need the internet). It helps be keep on top of my typing skillz

Email me if you want it.. It is small enough to be sent via email. Very basic but effective program. Seriously.

This is old school, but I used 'Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing' when I was a kid/teenager to learn how. Granted, I'm a two finger typer now, but it worked while it was needed.

Also- how fast do you type in your current style? I'm 60 wpm with 2 fingers. DO they really need you to type faster than that for a customer service position?

    I loved that program!

My computer class teacher also used to put this weird rubber cover over the keys so that you could still type but couldn't look down to see the keys. I totally hated it, but I guess its all good now because I can type correctly and look at the screen while I type.

the key is accuracy... not so much WPM... if you can type 60wpm with 98% or higher accuracy then you are doing pretty damn great..

I use my little typing tutor program when I feel my accuracy needs to be worked upon.. as the speed is the easy part.. it is the accuracy and being able to look at the screen (or document you are typing) without having to look at your keyboard once.

Being able to touch type has come in real handy for the internet.. esp. chatting!
