Default Average shelf life of a regular custie?

Ok I did a search on this and really couldn't come up with anything concrete.

I am still in shock that I came back from Thanksgiving holiday with a week off to find both of my major regs. have moved on. And I realize I need to move on.

But I was checking dates on past emails and when of them has crushed on my for over two months, the other for two years.

Do any of you feel there is an average 'shelf life' for them before they get ready to move on?

Anyone have an average time frame for them?

Depends on the regular's motives. If he wants laid, it tends to be shorter.

I'm probably an exception but I've been a regular of one girl for almost 5 years now. She's really cool and smoking hot and I have a good time with her. I just rather come in talk get some dances from her instead of somebody else.

As a rule of thumb, customers who spend more burn out faster. They may be a little obsessed with the girl, and think spending money is somehow going to get her OTC. If it doesn't, they get disillusioned quite quickly.

That makes sense. I think that's what happened with 'two and a half months guy'.

I have never kept a guy for longer than 2-3 months. They usually end up going with another girl and not coming back to me.

Mostly it depends on your personality and how "hot" you are in comparison to your competition from the customer's perspective.

Umm...not necessarily. My two year guy left me for someone, who is way older, flabby in the stomach and has some pitmarks in her face from old acne, where as I get mistaken for being a trainer @ my gym and other hot dancers compliment me on parts of my body.

But basically, a man is going to like what he likes. He is quite old (pushing 70) and has stated that 'we are all young to him'.

So hotness or cuteness is not always the winning factor, IMO.

A few months is generally how long it takes a customer to figure out he's not going to get you OTC, no matter how much he spends. Customers who last longer than this are the ones who genuinely like the strip club/stripper experience and don't care (as much) about getting the girl OTC AND with whom you have genuine chemistry of some kind.

The trick is letting the relationship get somewhat intimate over time (after all, you do get to know each other pretty well) without getting to that boring "just friends" stage where he wants to move on to other girls. Likewise, while you have to keep the chemistry alive, you can't let it boil over to the point that he starts insisting on seeing you OTC.

This is where I crash and burn! It seems to me that I either keep totally entranced and lovestruck or they turn into friends and move along. Ugh! Regs are a pain in my ass.... A girl I work with said to me once (and I think someone has it quoted in her siggy) "Regular customers are like regular bowel movements. You're happy to have one, but that doesn't mean you want to hang around it too long. And at some point, you will have to flush it."

    PERFECT analogy !

I would comment that the lifespan of a 'regular' is directly proportional to how much contact a dancer is comfortable providing, and how much 'stringing along' a dancer is comfortable reeling out.

Basically, if the dancer doesn't resort to 'stringing along' a customer, the life span is in the one month ballpark

If a dancer does resort to 'stringing along' a customer, but is reluctant to provide very high contact levels, then the life span is in the 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 month ballpark ... although this usually ends badly

If a dancer does resort to 'stringing along' a customer, and is willing to provide very high contact levels inside the club, then the life span is on the order of 3-5 months ... and usually doesn't end as badly

If a dancer is willing to do OTC and provide 'whole enchalada' contact levels, then the lifespan of regular customers is unlimited.

Yup. I lose regs cause I get sick to my stomach after a while pretending I like them. I am able to entrance for a second, then I get all bothered by the annoying puppy dog shit they do and move on. Bad stripper, no regulars!

    Oh, Melonie.

I have had long-term regulars that I didn't date OTC, nor did I give them handjobs ITC. If there was any stringing along, it happened mostly in their minds.

You have to let them feel that they are getting to know you, without giving away so much that they get familiar and bored. You have to invest the time and effort into getting to know them, and actually being interested in what's going on in their lives.

I have never had a long-term regular I disliked, -- I imagine this would be very hard -- but I'm fortunate in that I can find something to like in most people, and I find is especially easy to like people who give me lots and lots of money. Over time, you develop a (mostly) mutually enjoyable relationship of sorts and a degree of intimacy. Once you get to this point, men are completely capable of convincing themselves that you are on the verge of falling in love with them, no string necessary.

It takes a customer with a long attention span to enjoy this kind of relationship with a dancer, and a lot of guys just aren't up for it. When they are, though, the money is quite good and work is fun.

I hear you ... and frankly this is the ONLY sort of regular customers that I would ever cultivate / tolerate. However, they compromise such a tiny minority of total club customers, and they require such a degree of 'finesse' on the part of the dancer to manage (if we do say so ourselves LOL) that you can't really consider them as part of the 'standard playbook'.

With the two year guy, I have never ever done OTC except for giving him rides home when he couldn't get a taxi (as I mentioned he is old and does not drive). The other one (who it turns out has not dumped me completely) I have had brunch with twice.

    Both were light contact dances.

It's great to get all these prospectives. Thanks ladies

And yes E.E. the bowel movement analogy is perfect.

I've never really been one to have regulars. The only 2 which were "my" regulars lasted 2.5 years each. They are both guys who enjoy the strip-club experience for what it is, but also pursued me OTC. Otherwise, my guys expire after about 3 visits, which I don't consider long enough to be regulars.

I have never had regs, but a girl at my old one kept hers by blackmailing him. She knew where he lived and threatened to tell his wife ect.. some times he would come to the club, give her money and leave. This guy was a rude ass wack job so whatever. I guess thats another way to do it
