Default i danced for a famous Director

But you know, you shouldn't get star-struck unless you're positive they are who they say they are. So of course, i came home and IMDB-ed him, and sure enough he WAS the director on one of my faves, Requiem for a Dream!

funnier still is that there's a pic of him and claire danes and he's wearing the same sweater he was wearing tonight. hehe!

he was there at the club tonight with Mickey Rourke. (who, according to Emily and I agree, looked like shit!)

so yekhefah, do you know the name Darren Aronofsky?
(being as you're my stripper film connection hehe)
    i hope he emails!

    Love it!

I know the name but I've never met him. I dig his work though. Good customer?

I always hope Quentin Tarantino comes in when I'm working. I know exactly how to bleed his kinky ass out of every dollar he's got and I would kill for the chance to do it.

Oh, fucking cool! How'd you find out who he was (in the club)? See his Amex or something? Not exactly a familiar face. Also, you should see Pi.

I bet Mickey Rourke has one of the scarier faces ever and we see a lot of scary ones.

    wow you replied faaaaast. heh.
meh, we only did 3/$100 but he was the sober one, and he didnt tip. he claimed that (this is kinda hilarious) my getting to give him my email was enough of a tip. LOL. but still, def cool. he said he needed to take care of rourke. and he did go right over and make sure rourke did nothing stupid. he didnt spend any more than the 100.

    Love it!

Yeah, I can imagine Mickey Rourke needs to be babysat. I hate that he pulled that celebrity bullshit with the email address though, how awful. Celebrities really piss me off when they do that.

susan, yeah, now im gonna see Pi. well, i sat on his lap (was invited into the VIP by the host) and said "hi, im chrissy what's your name" and he said Darren. Then a little later he asked me if i recognized Rourke. I could barely see him tho so i said i couldnt see him and he said that it was Mickey Rourke and they were working together on something (The Wrestler according to IMDB).

Then Rourke said, "You know who this guy is? He's one of the best directors, ever!"
So, I asked Darren what he directed that I might know. He said the Fountain, i was *blank stare* and then he said Requiem and i practically creamed in my g-string. mmmm. this is so going into the blog.

    Love it!

yanno, now im replaying this all in my head, and im realizing he asked me the ODDEST questions ever... like, what do i take at work to get thru work. he was SHOCKED that i wanted to be sober. he was even MORE shocked when i told him i'd never tried coke, and then he started asking about why i do this then. then he asked if i ever had sex in front of others. weird ass Qs.

    Love it!

Don't be surprised if a Chrissy-like character shows up in his next film.

Ahh! I love his work. Pi was so far-out, and Requiem for a Dream of course!

So cool. We never get celebrities in Ottawa! (hockey players don't count) I enjoy details, because I need to live vicariously through the experiences of others. I am ashamedly a 'would-be' starfucker, no doubt. Or maybe not. i talk a big talk

God, I'm jealous. I love me some Darren Aronofsky.

I would have been so star struck and ridiculous and he would have not given me even a second, because I would start babbling nonstop about RfaD and The Fountain.

Good point. I guess not naming names is a part of my stripper/blogger ethics. I wouldn't name the local Honda dealer, so why would I name someone with more notoriety (unless, of course, they assault or rip off dancers)? I want people to think they can preserve the same sort of anonymity that I want, I guess.

    I absolutely loved The Fountain.

Why is he a cheap-ass for not tipping? It was $3/100, he isn't obligated to tip on top of that.

That is so fun! I wonder if he'll email. Probably not, huh?

Requiem was one of my favorite films when it came out.

Was he good looking at all? I'll have to go look his picture up.
