There one brand of waxing kit, it might be Veet. It comes with a numbing spray. Its just Benzocaine though, and you can find it seperately over the counter. Look for "burn spray" like Solorcaine.

This stuff rocks! It's called "Relax and Wax," it's a topical anesthetic that you apply half an hour before waxing. I use it whenever I go to a waxing (just cover it with Saran wrap and wipe it off right before the waxing starts). I also try to be as loaded on painkillers as I can without impairing my ability to drive, so no alcohol obviously but if you're set on doing the waxing at home (which I would NOT recommend!) then you can get totally loaded and not have to worry. Wheee!
Thank you so much.

Um, pay a professional?
NO way! I am too shy babe. He does a good job but it just hurts!

Aww!
That is so cute that your bf waxes you!

It gets better/easier each time. FIrst time is the worst by FAR!
Apply pressure (with a hand) immediately after the wax comes off- helps a lot.

Too shy for a waxing lady? It can't be worse than a gynocologist! My waxing girl was hilarious and always made my feel comfortable. Then again, I was a stripper AND have no shame, so it might not be the same comparison.
Is this for waxing the entire thing, or just the bikini area?

Another thing is quality of wax. For my bikini area (front, inner thighs), I use a roll-on wax. For around the lips, I use a hard wax that you apply, let it cool, and rip off without cloth strips.

Make sure you keep up with the waxing! When the hair grows back, it will be thinner and softer and won't hurt as much when it's waxed. I was the class dummy in school for the brazilian wax and it took a very painful 90 minutes because not only do I have thick, coarse hair but my teacher had to explain everything. The next time (like 2 weeks later), it wasn't nearly as bad, even with my classmates kind of messing up doing it. (the wax would get stuck or they wouldn't rip fast or rip off too much at once)
I agree^^^^^the more u wax the less it hurts, thou you have to take into consideration that around the labia is very very sensitive so it will be painful, also make sure you pull along the skin and not away your not kinda liftin the strip away if that makes any sense?
Wow your braver then i am, i dont even let my bf wash my hair let alone wax my bits lol
ETA: Also make sure you lay it on with the hair growth and pull it off against immediately, it should be literally wax on wax off very quickly![]()
A Good Girl With Bad Intentions
I personally use anal-eeze. You get it from the sex shops and it's to numb your, ahem, butt-parts so you can have anal sex. It works a lot better for me than those topical sprays.
Not so cool for the butt sex though. It kinda makes it boring.

If you use wax strips, I have found that cutting them into little squares helps minimize pain. The smaller pieces just hurt less for some reason.
I did the anal ease, it was a "I wonder if this will help" and no lol

and I had a jungle! JUNGLE!!!! well not a jungle I trim but I had not done anything to any place but the bikini are soo it was torture!
I told him "I hope you realize I love your ass cause shit! this hurts, and I've had kids!"
Oh and a pro is a lot of $$$ and this is just for him and me not like I'm gonna be making $ off of having my thang all pretty so the price isn't really justifiable? is that a word? anyway yeah.
I find it a totally justifiable expense personally for the quicker time, less pain, and less "bad wax job" aftermath such as bruising, strays, and ingrowns. Unless your boyfriend is a trained aesthetician, chances are he's not possibly gonna do as good a job in the aforementioned than a pro. And yeah I get more nervous about gyno appointments than waxing ones.
Oh I also usually bring a sudoku book to distract me. I am a huge baby with pain, I do absolutely everything I can to try to minimize it. But I love the results so much that I keep doing it, and it truly is worlds easier with successive waxings.
I was watching Family Guy to keep me entertained lol.

I've had some wax jobs by professionals that left me red and irritated with bumps for at least a week after..I'm kind of interested in trying it myself after all of that but not sure..Let me know how it works out for you!!
