    Default perlane= brillant

girls im so excited. during my recent surgery i got my surgeon to inject PERLANE into those folds that run between my nose and mouth. They had always bothered me. They had been there since I was 14 (smile lines i guess) and were quite deep set.

It wasn't cheap AU$660 but FUCK FUCK FUCK was it worth it. The lines are completely gone and there is no tightness to my face, I can still smile. When I am not smiling there are no expression lines.

    WOW one happy patient here.

It lasts for 6 months to a year. Im not sure if it's used in the forehead. I will do some pics soon. I am a bit camera shy at the moment coz my bruising from my rhinoplasty is still present.

No botox works by stopping the muscles from moving (like frowning) whereas perlane is like a filler so it's basically filled out the wrinkles. I can still smile and there is no frozen look to my face.

Yeh it was def not cheap. I have always been very self conscious about those lines tho and im really happy with the results. I will just have to monitor how long it lasts to determine whether it's worth doing it a second time.

I've had perlane and restylane and love both. Perlane is a larger molecule than restylane, it can go deeper into the dermis than restylane and it hurts more too.

I'm pretty sure they can inject perlane in the lips but I'm unsure about the forehead.

I had jurvederm (it's the same thing as restylane) injected into my tear troughs for under eye cirlces and had the perlane injected into my nasal labial folds.

I've had it for three months and it's still going strong!

At first I could but now I don't notice it all, so maybe i just got used to it? I'm not sure they would use Perlane for under eyes because your skin is so much thinner in that area but Jurvederm or Restylane worked great.

I have been self conscious for years about my under eye circles and this was the only thing that worked after i wasted so much $$$ on creams. I had horrible allergies as a child and had something commonly referred to "allergy shiner" due to this, so my circles were BAD.

I'm anxious to see how long it lasts because it sure was expensive!

if the bump bothers you, you can massage it till it goes down. Hyaluronic Acid is a very malleable substance.

im popping into my local skin clinic today who i notice do this, i want it on the smile lines between my nose and mouth corners. nasalabial lines or something.

i dont care too much what i pay - its gonna be worth it as those r the lines i think that make my face look aged.

    one question....did it hurt??? x

i had it done. thats me sold! had the numbing cream on for half an hour and when she did the injections it was like a tiny little prick (weve all felt one of those!! )

it didnt hurt, and its just filled in my deep set smile lines. i love it

the only thing im a bit apprehensive about is my left side she has done to perfection, my right side i feel she hasnt put enough in the right places. but then gain it looks cool when i look at myself so im very very happy. im just being a picky bitch to myself lol!!

    RECOMMEND IT A++++++++++

    YEY
Good to hear not too painful. I was under general anaesthetic for mine coz i had my rhino/ba done at same time so I had no idea if it was painful or not.

did your lips feel really numb afterwards? i dont know if that was from my rhino or the perlane?
