Default Newbie! Sorry if this has been said before!

Hello all! I am new to this site...and so glad I found it!!

There are a few things on my mind that I wanted to talk about/ask:

I currently work at both Treasures and Sapphire in Las Vegas. It seems to me that Treasures, even though it's rated one of the most luxurious clubs in the world, has significantly gone down in quality. Does anyone on here work there and have you noticed that?

I have had a hard time getting health insurance. Has anyone else? There is a new association starting soon for exotic dancers that has a low monthly fee and offers assistance with this, along with discounts to beauty salons, spas, nail salons, gyms, plastic surgeons, childcare, etc. etc. etc. and scholarships for school. The payment is only going to be around $40 per year. What do you think of this?

Lastly, I have started looking at clubs in LA, since I go out there for auditions frequently. I heard the Spearmint Rhino in Torrance is pretty good, but also checked out Pleasures in Pasadena, which seemed ok for a California club. Does anyone have any input on where to go?

Thank you for all of your help! Like I said, I'm new to this site, and I really apologize if these questions have been asked before. I tried to go back a bit in the forum but didn't see anything.

LA is NOTHING like Vegas. It's one of the worst stripping cities in the country. If you really want to work in LA for some reason, drive inland as far as possible. The more hopping the nightlife is in the part of LA you're working in, the less money you'll make. So you'll make much more if you drive 50+ miles inland where there's nothing to do and the people have a little more money to spend.

I worked at pleasures. I liked it. It was my favorite place to work at considering quality of managers, bouncer and dancers. That club has very little drama for the most part. I actually miss working there a lot.
I have talked to a few dancers who work at the Rhino in Torrance, they said the money is decent.
Fantasy Topless in Colton probably had the best money out of most of the clubs i have seen, well, most money for no extras.
Lolagetz is dead on with what she said. Southern California does not have the money that Vegas has. But at least in California, you need to purchase a dance license. Some people don't want that on file.
Have you considered dancing in other states besides these two?
