Any suggestions for helping him get it back?? Tried a search and couldn't find any thing. All the other threads were about out of control appetites, lol.

I never suggest things like this so you know it's out of concern. I agree with Liz; a little smoke might help him out.
It's definitely better than losing muscle tone or potentially getting sick.

^lol, yeah give him the munchies! Eat bitter foods such as olives-the greek or Italian kind not those salty things with red goop in the center. Hot spicy foods actually help with digestion and can increase appetite, cinnamon is a natural appetite stimulant.
And I found this:
1. If you can eat with family members and friends, do so. Let them know that you are having difficulty with your appetite and ask for their support.
2. Serve food attractively prepared and in a pleasant atmosphere
3. Eat high nutrient food and avoid junk foods and sugar
4. Eat small meals or snacks frequently
5. Add seasoning to help flavor foods
6. Shift eating pattern to coincide with appetite. For example, eat the biggest meal of the day in the morning, if that’s what you are most inclined to do.
7. With your physician’s approval, add light exercise
Uh yeah, we smoke weed. Often, haha. That's why I don't get it. Although we could up the sex a bit, lol.
Thanks for all your tips! I'll google for more suggestions. I'm gonna grab him some Boost too.

Is he at all constipated? That might be it too.
Have him eat small meals, or snacks, or whatever he can, every couple of hours. That should kick up his metabolism and help his appetite.
I believe you Dottie and you have my support
Is he on any meds for anything? Some of mine have anorexia as a side effect and I rarely have much of an appetite anymore
Find out what led up to him loosing his appetite, and then tell me so I can do whatever he did and loose mine too.

I wish I had this problem
Is he bored with food? Sometimes that happens when I feel like I'm in a cooking rut. Is anything else going on with his health, like depression or other sick stuff?
Is he sad? Does he always eat the shit out of everything normally? Is it just a lack of interest or he's actually put off by the thought? (I range between a love, an indifference and a slight lack of interest so it's only when I experience these in the same day that I raise an eyebrow!)
People can turn anorexic due to stress. Theres a difference between Anoerxia Nervousa and actual Anorexia. I have this problem, its like you are soooo hungry but soooo stressed, looking a plate of food makes you sick. But, I only get this one I'm SUPER stressed out or something is REALLY bothering me.
I wish I had this problem too, seriously. I feel like such a fat ass when I clear my plate and he doesn't.
No meds, but he is stressed. My bday is sandwiched right in between Xmas and New Years, so it's an extra expensive time of year for us. I'll try making him eat small snacks throughout the day and try to cook more interesting food.
So does anyone have any tips to slow down your appetite?? lol, that's what I need.
