    Default Pinched Nerve in Foot

Since I started work, my feet have taken a beating. The right one in particular.

For the past week I have developed a pinched nerve around the big toe area. I have insoles for back pain and shoes designated for work, much like "shoes for crews", but it still kills me. Add to that something inside the shoe keeps rubbing over the area.

I'm limping and in a lot of pain constantly. I am planning on buying a different style in the same brand of shoes tomorrow, because I have used this brand 4 times with great results, just never this style. Who knows what went wrong with this pair/style.

Just wanted to know what else I could do to ease my pain/care for this now. Pinched nerves are not anything to mess with I've heard

Keep you foot elevated for a bit if you can, pop an aspirin, and stretch it out little-by-little. I know it will be painful, but do the best you can.

Should I also get some Epsom salt and soak it a lot? Will that help?

That is a great idea! Soak the shit of it, then elevate for a bit!

Make sure you take an anti-infammatory like Advil to keep the swelling down. This way it won't press up against the nerve so much.

Soaking in Epsom salts is a good idea as is elevating the feet when you get home.

During the day, make sure you do ankle twists to keep circulation flowing down there too.

Never mind. It said Naproxen Sodium was also an NSAID, and I have that already (tight on money, so this matter! )

    Thanks VG

I just about fall over at the prices when I go shopping for NSAIDs, so I'd rather use what I have first.
