Default Help Me Ladies of Lush!

My friend likes teasing me about hanging out on SW, so I thought I would get my revenge by getting her hooked on Lush, which, of course, I stumbled upon here on SW. They just remodeled their master bath which includes a new soaking tub. So, before I flee the state for Xmas, I thought I'd send her some Lush products.

Can I get some reccomendations for putting together a collection of things for around $75? I could send her an e-card so she could pick out online which
fragrances she'd like to try (I'm clueless on this front), or is being in the store worth experiencing? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

    some must haves:
    the comforter bubble bar
butterball or mr butterball if there are some left bc theyre bigger and cost less
    sex bomb
    maybe dream cream

it really depends on what scents she likes. citrusy, candy/sweet, you know...

And Lush Pud! And the glittery things like Shimmy Shimmy and Bling Crosby! And if she's a "special friend" some of the massage bars like Mange Too!

^ yeah but everyone wont like those things. i hate glitter that sticks to me. i used part of a glittery massage bar as a melt and it wouldnt wash off in the shower. and i love karma, but some people hate it.

some of their scents can go either way. you either love them or hate them. thats why its important to have *some* idea of what she likes.

I asked her husband already, he's not much help. She likes lovespell from VS if that helps. She's more earthy than frilly, but can do the princess thing on occasion, too. Is the in-store experience a better choice here? For her, I mean. There is a store in SF, but I don't think they have been in over a year since the baby was born. I do appreciate the lists with types of things to get and I'll work on the preferred scent angle. Thanks

yeah, i know if im trying something new i smell it in the store first. i am VERY iffy about ordering something online if i havent used it yet because their scents are so unique and often times arent quite how you think they'll be based on the descriptions.

Well, lovespell is a very fruity sweet smell........ I love it and am into that girly smelling stuff. I also love Princess by Vera Wang which is a girly smell like Lovespell.

But I dont think im helping much...

    Go for fruity/sweet smells...

    Um, yea, ok, bye

I would skip Dream Cream for a newbie. This would be my list:

    Comforter
    Think Pink
    Sex Bomb
    MMM
    Blackberry
    Butterball
    Floating Island
    Creamy Candy

Also, either Rockstar soap or Snow Fairy s/g. Or both!!

Thanks LR, I think that type of list is what I need. I'll bump around the website and see if I can find all that.

LR I love your list. And Britt I know what you mean, I really didn't care for Karma when I smelled it although I loved the description. I'd have bought a TON of stuff that I wouldn't have liked had I not been able to smell 'em first!

I usually throw mine in a strainer and hold that under the faucet while the water is blasting out at full pressure. Mad bubbles no matter which one I use!! I threw in Creamy Candy b/c I thought she could use another bbs in the mix. Flosty gritter would be good too.

DE - there's some promo codes out right now you can use with free shipping. One is GREENGOODIE, which allows you to pick a "green" product (go for Geo Phyzz) for free when you spend $65, and the other is SCENTME, which allows you to pick a solid fragrance for free when you spend $65. You can only use one at a time. And if you've already paid, you can call mail order and they are usually pretty good about adding the promo to your order.

I'm going to have to post in the F-U LR thread now. I found the gift box page and settled on "Think Pink" for $99. Then I found I could edit the contents and still get it boxed and wrapped, so I start reading reviews and removing some things and adding others and now I'm at $140. DOH! I better start small and let her go crazy buying this stuff. Off to try again.

Tramp shower gel. It's very earthy. I use it as it's one of the more masculine Lush products.

^^I would do Flying Fox over Tramp. Tramp is a little too earthy IMO.
