Haha, the guy downstairs who has an even better Ultimate Key West Pad told me he was throwing a party tonight 2 weeks ago, so I arranged to take the night off.

So far, no party, LOL! I haven't gone down there in the last hour, it's still early, but I'm starting to wonder if it's going to happen. If it doesn't I'm going to give him some shit, it's costing me a lot of money not to work tonight--though nothing like Season.

Fuck it, I've been working too hard anyway, if there's no party I'm going out and having fun.

Sounds like he was being rude but he wasn't, he didn't have my number to tell me and we never see each other except when he comes to my club once in a while--the best kind of neighbor to have.

I totally forgot it was Saturday until I read this thread.

I'd probably have gone into work if my shoes hadn't broken. I just came out retirement for two months and bought one pair of new shoes. I was really, really loath to replace them especially since I don't know if I'll be back to dancing or not after my trip. Anyway, these things were in rough shape for the past few weeks. They were all rigged up with safety pins, very classy. Last night they broke right before my last set on stage and I was like, well shoes, I think this is a sign. RIP, little buddies. I threw them in the trash can when I left.

I don't know why it didn't occur to me to go out. I guess I'm happier at home freaking out over nothing and playing computer right now.
