    Default clicking /popping joints

What causes this? My rotators and knees hips etc are cracking a lot lately . I heard there is a suplement you can take that keeps your cartilage from wearing ? Ring a bell , anyone?

    Is it this?
    Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM supplement.

Also, if they are just cracking thats ok. Mine do it all the time. If there is pain then you probably should see a doctor.

I feel like an old lady (at 20) this happens to me too, I'd be interested in something that would help this.

My knees do this constantly, if I am climing stairs I sound like a damn bowl of rice krispies. They also swell if I irritate them too much and hurt occasionally after work. I would also like to know if anyone has had success with what TM mentioned or other supplements.

I take MSM supplements and the bottle says it's good for cartilage and joint health. I second TM.

I've been taking Glucosamine for the past month or so, because I'm concerned about my knees when I return to work. I'm getting old...

I've been taking it steadily only for 2 weeks, but R takes it as well and he says it helps. He's older than I am as well.

Glucosamine has a lot of studies (300+) backing it. As far as I know though, for some people - if it works for them - it can take up to 6 months to see the effects. MSM (again, as far as I know) is more for inflammation in the joints... Glucosamine will help rebuild and protect from wear and tear...

i took glucosamine and chondroitin for about 7-8 months, but didn't really notice any improvement. I have problems in my knees and shoulders, and occasionally my hips. Dr's don't know what's wrong, but one said it may be arthritis. So now I just take aspirin when they hurt, and nothing has helped with the clicking and cracking! lol

I use Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM supplement for my knees and it works GREAT when taken correctly! Which means I have to remember to take 2 of those tablets a day. It takes up to a couple weeks to really feel the results I've experienced.
