    Default False EyeLashes

OMG I *love* them, My nail salon recenty starting doing them, the lashes last 2 weeks, I can wash them and everything. I never wore them before, is it okay put put mascara on them? I have been doing that, then gently rinsing them off. Also i dont want them to rip my real eyelashes off
The first day they HURT soo bad, my eyes were sore, and burning but today is my third day and now they are PERFECTO. I am going to get them put on every two weeks from now on,
I think my customers like them too becuz i made reaally good money last night!! everyone kept saying, your eyes your eyes... lmao Im sold.
They are only $20, and they are the single, one by one lashes. Make me feel mad sexy i dont know why?
does anyone else wear them? are their any good ones i can do myself?
    here is a pic

I wear strip lashes alot of people say the individual lashes bother them. Yours look really nice. You probably can do them yourself if you just pat attention to what the person is doing and trying to do it yourself and make sure you have lash remover in case you mess up.

Wait, they last two weeks? Is this the semi permanent lashes? I had those and they were supposed to last about 6 weeks. Or is this something else? Because $20, that's hella cheep if it's the same thing!

    I NEEEED to know more!

yea you look gorgeous, but I pay like 4 bucks for strip lashes at target they are pink box and i like number 101 or 110. I hear it's best to take them off in teh shower in the morning but i just rip mine off with no problem after work every night. It must just be i have oily eyelids? Just take a day to practice putting them on yourself. I did it once when I was like 16/17 and they looked bad so I didn't try again till now (20) and now I wear them alot for work. Guys love them because they add that extra glamour touch.

You are gorgeous! I usually wear the false lashes that go on with glue. I probably couldn't handle eyelash extensions cause I'm rough when pulling off my eye makeup with makeup remover at night.

I think she's talking about the lash extensions - not just fake eyelashes.

My nail salon does them too, but they charge a few hundred dollars, so I'm confused. Do you mean $20 per lash?

    Oh, and you're gorgeous!

High-end salons will screw you in price. You can go to beauty supply stores, nail salon, etc in a more urban area & it is more affordable.

I posted a thread about this awhile ago.

I wouldn't go to a cheapy salon to get them done as they use crap glue.

I get extensions done at a nice classy salon and they cost about $40 to do. They shouldn't burn and hurt when they're done, that concerns me. Yes the glue can make your eyes water for a minute or two when they are being applied but after they're on you shouldn't have any problems.

Mine lasted just over two weeks which was awesome as they went through a serious beating with shower shows on stage every night, buckets of icecream being dumped on me and all that fun stuff. They were super easy to remove once they started to look icky from the wear and tear. I just used baby oil on them to soften the glue and they slid right off without even pulling out any of my natural lashes.

Also I wouldn't use mascara on them as it can pull on the glue and stuff. Just put on some black eyeliner and it makes them pop right out.

Maybe I haven't looked hard enough - but I swear everywhere here in Portland charges at least $150 for them. If anyone from here knows of somewhere cheap - lemme know.

Yes i think next time i might pay more, because a few lashes have fell off. so i try to take it ALL off with the lash remover she gave me but it HURTS AYYYYYYYY i need these off before tommorow night when i go back to work!
they are not a single or a strip they are a cluster like 5 hairs put together.
they do the extensions there too, she said thats $100 and lasts longer.

I bought a box of individual lashes and glue (sold separately) for around $6 at walgreens the other day. I tried to put them on myself and I couldnt even get one on properly. I will try again though - I refuse to be defeated!

Put baby oil on a piece of cotton or something and hold it on the lashes to soak it and it will soften the glue so you can slide them off.

The ones I get are like individual lashes but its like a small cluster of 5 or so and they get glued to my actual lashes. I get the really long dramatic ones. I love them. Like I said it shouldn't hurt when you get them put on. Your eyes might water for a second but otherwise you shouldn't have a problem.

Be gentle when removing eye make up and false lashes ladies. In beauty school they told me it takes 4 to 5 months for eyelashes to grow back. I was like WTF??
