I Live In Las Vegas Nv This Is My First Few Months Stripping. Who Knows If New Years Will Be Busy
I'm not working. My club gets packed on NYE...with all the wrong people. Mostly obnoxious grabby drunks, couples, and groups of snotty attention-whore girls.

Yeah, what they said.

Was anyone at least able to make a night $$$ worthwhile amidst all the drunken broke folks?

^^ Friend of mine who'd be dancing a while managed to break $1000 for her first time last NYE at Pigale. So maybe try Pigale?
I'm going to go in early and work it. If it's horribly terrible, I'll leave and find a house party instead.

I've had a few notable NYEs $$$-wise ... one locally (Gold Coast) when Players was in its prime (and thus it was easily regarded as the top club on the Coast) and one in Rockhampton. Otherwise, I only ever work it if I want something to do.
Hence the reason I'm seriously thinking of working it this year. I have nothing better to do. I've got no parties to attend and I'm not too keen on driving around doing last minute (or even any) private party shows nor going to bed early or anything. I can easily have NYD night off which is dead as all fuck every damn year no matter where the hell I am working.

I have been dancing in Las Vegas for 3 years (live here) and I have never worked New Year's Eve, but work before and after and it's always hopping, there are so many concerts and stuff going on, you'll make money, but, alas, to many drunk obnoxious people. You do not seem to sell much V.I.P., mostly just dances. I watched the news tonight and we are expecting more than 100,000 extra people in town which= $$$$. You'll be fine.
really.. hmm wells ima go in and try it on new years and on the 25th...wish me luck
Youre going Christmas....ugh.... good luck.... if I had to choose its be NYE
I can't believe clubs are open over NY, here in the uk all the SCs are closed that night. Must be a different culture over here, I can garuntee they would all be empty if they left them open anyway.

i'm working nye because:
no other girls want to work. less competition. not that there is much of it where i work but ya know. (i'm not a bitch, you have to see where i work...)
that way all the money is mine.
I never liked the times I tried working NYE. The money was never great, usually below average. At the end of the night I'd just be depressed that I didnt go out and have fun instead.
^^^ Pretty much sums up every NYE I've worked in a strip club. Depressing. Like all these people think "hey its new years, I better go out" and then they realise hey I don't have any friends cause I'm that much of a loser... oh I know I'll go to a strip club, someone will have to talk to me there!!
So many tables with one guy at them, who has absolutely no social skills and is incredibly depressing. I'd do just about anything to avoid another NYE.
The world's most uncoordinated stripper
Christmas night in Vegas fuckign rocks. There was only 1 SC open all night...and it is packed full. Las year, we had 14 dancers. 14!!!!! In a club that can hold over 300.
We were at full capacity with a line out the door.
People lined up for dances. I made well over a grand in 4 hours. Hard work, lots of dances, but absolutly no selling whatsoever. People walked up to you and grabbed you before you were even finished with the last dance.
Never worked a NYE....always prefered to party, but I would assume NYE is the same. no girls, lots of customers.

Can't remember the weekend after...
But if I were you, After you put her to bed, go in to work. (Christmas night) If you get there around 10pm that would be perfect.

When I worked NYE it was so not worth it..I left with less than $100. NEVER AGAIN!
Some Douchebag: "[Pimp C] 12:43 am: its true we got to stick together the black people on SW CK you is teh condoleeza of SW"

^ bingo!
The thing about NYE in Vegas is that you can't drive on the strip so it's hard to get places. I worked at OG's last year, and I wouldn't have made any money if I stay til 6 am. But you never know, you can always get lucky

I've worked the last two New Year's Eves.... always had a blast. The one thing that is in your favor is that a lot of girls opt to party and not come in to work. Those that do come in make money.
I absolutely love dancing and closed out 2006 by being the last girl on stage at my club for the year. It felt good to wrap it up completely energized and covered in sweat and smiling from doing exactly what I love.
If you're friends with anyone at work, see if they're going to work that night or not. It helps to have a buddy to drink that complimentary glass of champagne with if the prospects in the room are dim.
