Ever since I started stripping, I began to wonder whether or not I'm alone in my family as a stripper. I have worked many a shitty job, and know how hard it is to live off of a couple hundred dollars a week. There really is NO room for niceties, or any indulgences past a few beers at a bar.
My cousin works as a receptionist at a doctors office, and supposedly makes $20 an hour. She is 31 and GORGEOUS. She has always been obsessed with 1. her looks and 2. gold-digging for rich men as far as I can remember. She's had about 10+ plastic surgeries in the last decade totalling over 50Gs, not to mention countless Botox, Restylane, lasering, and laser-hair removal. She must have a massive closet full of clothes, because when I was younger, she used to send me and my sister care packages of clothes, shoes, and purses that she didn't want anymore (but we loved!). All of the clothes were the hottest name-brands at that time: Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, Abercrombie, etc. She's always had a pretty decent car (BMW last I heard), and lives alone in a gated community. She takes a trip every few months, to different places around the country visiting friends and partying at the hottest nightclubs and bars. When I looked at her pics, all her friends were gorgeous as well, and most of them have fake tits. When I asked her how she affords her lifestyle, she just said she puts it on a credit card![]()
I know what its like to work for $20 an hour and what it affords (not much). Is it wrong to assume she is a stripper? (Of course I would never discuss this with my family or anyone else besides other strippers on SW to protect her anonymity, but I'm curious for myself) I wish I could ask her, or say something like "hey ___, if you're a stripper, its cool just letting you know you're not alone in the fam!!" but I'm afraid she'll flip out if I'm wrong since we're not that close.
Thoughts/opinions??
