Most clubs have a required minimum that you work.. ie some shifts may be 4 - 9. If you stay later thats your own choice. They just have a minimum.

I've never heard of a club that made you leave if they were still open. Lots of girls work doubles!

Most clubs have a day shift and a night shift. Usually it switches from day shift to night shift around 7 or 8pm. Some clubs have a mid-shift which is something like 4p-12a. Some clubs in Vegas are open 24/7.
Lots of girls work double shifts if they really need or want to. I think that's one of the perks of the job. If you have a short-term financial goal such as tuition for college or a down-payment on a car, or a computer for your kid, you can work extra hours and shifts to meet the goal without having to file a bunch of paperwork or begging your boss for more hours!
The 40-hour work week, which defines "full time" in most businesses, doesn't really exist for dancers. "Full time" also relates to whether or not you receive benefits like health insurance and other perks from a company you work for. NONE of this exists for dancers. Keep in mind that as a stripper, even though you get in your car and drive to work, that you still don't work for them. You are an independent contractor, and that means you are your own business.
Also because stripping is so physically and emotionally demanding, I'd say most girls would consider 30 hours a week of dancing to be full time! I do!
Most clubs welcome dancers working more than their scheduled shifts. It's just something that has to be okayed with a manager or housemom. Working multiple shifts in the same day almost always means that you tip out day staff and night staff.

Not at every club...at my club we are employees and we do recieve a measley $15 paycheck every few weeks.
Where I work you can just ask to stay for a few extra hours and sometimes they say no, but usually they say yes. Overtime does exist, although I doubt many of the girls work over 40 hours a week.
Some clubs may charge you a fine for staying past your shift(because if you are say..a day girl...it isnt fair to the night girls to invade "their" territory without havig to pay the higher night house fee)
But I've never seen a club that MADE you leave if you wanted to stay and keep making them money!
Out here, if you are strictly a day girl, you have to get special permission to stay over, and yes, pay a fine to stay over. Sometimes they do not allow day girls to work over. Depends on their looks.
But here, it's like day girls are restricted, night girls are open to any shift, so a night girl can work as long as she wants with no permission needed and no fine to pay.
At my old place, if you wanted to work a double shift you would have to pay double the house fee. Though... sometimes that brought drama to the dressing room from what I've seen. haha
