Default HELP! I have no sense of style...(wardrobe help)

When it comes to shopping for new clothes, I LOVE it! I love being the hottest girl in a club, wearing sexy stilettos, sexy dresses. Summer is my time to shine!

But, I've noticed that I do not know how to dress myself for the colder months. I just don't give a damn how I look. I will wear ugly, tired shoes, jeans, a stretched out turtleneck and keep it moving

Can you guys give me some tips/ideas on some cute outfit ensembles to put together for my new wardrobe? I need all the help I can get!

I hate fall. I wear a summer shirt under a winter coat. I thought about updating my wardrobe for next fall when the clothes now are marked down in a few weeks.
But the colors are so dark and drab- ugh. I just want to leave the stores.

Took the words right out of my mouth. This is my uniform during the cold months. I rock the military-inspired pea coat.

If I had the money right now I'd be at Nordstrom, lol. It is usually very neat and organized unlike other upscale department stores and there is always someone around to help you. I think they have the hottest and latest designer fashions.

Bebe and Arden B. have hot clubbing type attire that is less expensive than designer and there is usually always someone to assist you their stores as well.

I mean to really know how something looks on you and what works for you someone with some taste, style and knowledge of their own needs to be present to help you.

Yup, I'm all about the knee high boots and scarves. If you wear a dark shirt, wear a light scarf and vice versa, and you can tuck skinny jeans into your boots. Also, V-neck sweaters are in fashion this year. I like to go shopping at Express.

But..but...what about when it snows outside? Shouldn't I be wearing my clunky timberland snow boots, and not knee-high heeled boots??

LOL! I feel the same way CK! I have friends that get so adorably fashionable in the winter and I simply can't. I'm too picky about feeling trapped in my clothes or having uncomfortable fabrics.... I've just about given up on looking hot in the winter! I'm glad I'm not alone though

No! Warm is more important than sexy to me!!! I would wear the long johns under my jeans. Although I sometimes I wear high heel boots, the tallest civillian boots I have are wedges with rubber soles and they're super comfy....

Actually the snow boots are in style too right now. You can wear them with jeans when it is snowing or when it isn't a casual jumper type dress and tights underneath. Or even wear a sweater dress with tights and the boots.

Winter is my time to shine with fashion! Summer I get really really lazy. Usually just a bikini, with a tank and skirt or jeans. For cooler weather, lots of layers is the key. Wear skinny jeans with knee high boots, a nice thin sweater, then a nice peat or trench coat, scarf, and hat if you really need it. Maybe a nice dress, boots, thick tights and a coat. So many more options!

    I generally wear something like:

-dark wool coat, fitted nicely (this will actually keep you warmer)

-chunky/thick sweaters, but tight so they don't look frumpy

-velvet muffler (you can put this over another scarf if it's really cold)

-black leather gloves (some lace up the sides and are very sexy)

I don't do stilettos unless I'm going out to a club. Ow+cold=no for me. But you can get flat boots with traction that are still stylish, in suede or regular leather.

And yes to layering. Also, there are little things you can do like putting warm tights under dressy pants (that would be too cold on their own) etc.

And then there are hat like berets or cloche hats and such.

If you don't want to wear long johns, use thick opaque tights or even better the Danskin tights ballerinas/dancers use. It will keep you very warm without being bulky.

Ugg boots.. Skinny jeans. Little cropped jackets and sweathes that are well fitting. Gloves. Leather, knitted. Monocromatic ( all one color ) with a funky colored glove, scarf and hat combo. Leather pants with a snug fitting turtle neck and pea coat or a leather corset jacket for not so cold days.

Sketchers has some cool buckle on the side boots that look stylish. Steve what's his face ( duh me ) has some cute boots as well. Also you can do the little bootie. They come in TONS of styles. From the timberland style to an elegant fur cuffed heeled number.

Jeans. ( skinny ) boot cut for the more relaxed casual look and then sweather dresses. Denim skirts - the thick long ones. Leggings with boots Velvet pants. Leather pants. Your busty like me so the snug fitting sweathers will be killer fierce.

Try some of the new jeans that are somewhere between boot-cut and skinny. They are much more flattering and you can fit long-johns under. Save the really skinny ones for more temperate weather. It's hard to look sexy when your shivering.

Try the long skirts with boots and a clingy sweater or turtleneck. These are warm, you can wear thick tights for extra warmth if you need and if you are tall enough you can wear flat boots instead of heels. It will also flatter the big-busted shape (it's what I wear when I wanna look girly and pretty while being warm).

    My winter staples:

Thick tights - black, grey, green - I live in these because they are extremely comfortable!!
Sweater dresses - nice over tights or skinny jeans
Funky boots (heels or flats)- there are so many options this season
    thick scarves
wool coats in diff colours - I have a black, red, white/black and green one

I have no sense of style either, but I have discovered that if you get a plain grey thermal shirt you can wear a lot of your pretty summer shirts over it.

Also, fuck tights. Get some wool long underwear - it's expensive, but it'll last forever and it looks kind of like tights if your going to be wearing dresses and stuff.

And, um, I wear skirts over jeans. That's probably really bad, but I get to wear my pretty stuff and still be warm.
