It wont make any difference. She has plenty of her own money now. She's had her tv shows, a fragrance line and all those appearances pay huge $$$$ just to have her show up for a few hours. She doesn't need granddaddy's money at this point.

That's been the case for some time. She will be fine. she'll fuck someone on tape and we will all buy her tapes and laugh.

    ^ Ditto.

I found it funny his parents named him "Barron"..even way back then, that must have been a super-WASPY name.

I'm sure this still chaps her hide....But how cool is that? Maybe Hilton thought Warren Buffett was going to cock-block him on the huge Humanitarian Legacy Gesture. I love it when rich old dudes use those last surges of testosterone for the good of mankind!!!!

I don't feel too bad for Paris. What does she really need all those extra billions for? Even without the inheritance, she'll be living large, with the money she gets from modelling, acting on the Simple Life, royalties, etc. What's the big difference between her having, say, $5 million to her name or $100 billion??

Studies show that once you make over $40-50,000/yr(the approx. amount needed for a single American to live a decently comfortable lifestyle), your happiness only increases slightly at best with your income. (On the flip side -- while excess money does not necessarily correlate to extra happiness, an extreme LACK of money IS significantly correlated to more problems and less happiness. Bottom line, you need basics and necessities to be happy but after that, having excess wealth isn't important)

I think her grandfather is doing the right thing by donating to charity. I'm all about more emphasis on giving to charities, especially when it comes from upper class peoples that have extra money to spare. (I'd much rather donate my money directly to a charity, than to pay out money in the form of taxes, where a good % gets lost in translation, via politicians voting themselves pay raises amongst other wasteful expenses) He is doing the right thing.

So instead of being really really really wealthy, she will only be really wealthy? Oh, the humanity!

Meh. This is not the first rumer that states paris will get no inheritance. My guess is it will be disproven. There are 3 other siblings besides Paris.....doubtful they will be left high and dry.

I think the old man is right. What has Paris done for the family besides humiliate them. What has she done for anybody besides herself. She is a spoiled brat and she is not going to be hurting for money anytime soon.
Besides, who knows what real good will come from this generous gift to charity.

There was a similar one that he cut Paris out of his will because she was an embarrassment.

Somehow I dont see Barron Hilton giving all his money to charity. He doesnt seem like the philanthropic type.
