    Default newbie doobie doo

    Hey
Im a kinda sorta newbie from NJ here LOL
Ive frequented clubs and always wanted to dance but just recently got the cohones to do it LOL.
Any who this site is great Im learning ALOT.
I have an audition on sunday( a bikini bar ) and as the time draws near my nerves are acting up. Although lots of my questions have been answered Im still nervous.
Part of its body issues (cesaren scar and a little pouch not to mention my boobs which balloned out after my child was born aka 34 b to 34d).
And the other part is nerves at how to act.
while the private dances dont scare me the stage one does lol.
and those shoes LOL damn those things are pricey
So heres the question could any one give me a basic list of what to do
or direct me to a post that helps?

    Thanx in advance

Since your in a bikini bar you don't need to worry about boobs n stuff. Wear a sexy push up bra and see if you can find an outfit to hide your scare if your worried about it.

Shoes shouldn't be too much... you can find them online for like $40ish....

You will be fine!!! Good luck

    Okay take a deep breath.

If your freaking because you saw my pics, don't. Im a feature, I get paid by bars to put one big ass shows lol.

As long as you can walk around and look cute, you will be fine. Everything else comes with time. You will learn from watching other girls and trying stuff as you go.

Just go in, smile, be sexy and confident and you will be fine

Hey hunny, don't worry about your body. I had my first night just over a month ago and when walked into the dressing room I expected it to be like walking in on a room of models but seeing the girls behind the scenes is very grounding. Just act like a sweet person and you'll catch on quick. Let us know how it goes =o)

Cally you are absolutely correct about the price, but keep in mind that although $40ish doesn't sound like much to us, perhaps it might be a little expensive for her(especially since she has to raise a kid alongside her other everyday expenses). For example, when I first started dancing, I had like no money at all! It was the whole "when you don't have $10, then $10 sounds like a fortune" mentality. But anyway, if the OP can afford the $40 shoes, that is great and she already has a good start.

If not, I'd suggest looking for clearance priced shoes that are sometimes cheaper. Also, there is a chain costume store called Masquerade, which is the same company as Halloween Adventure but open year-round instead of just seasonally...they have some stripper shoes for a little cheaper than most stripper outfit stores. You can sometimes find shoes that are only $25-30 or so(but they'll be VERY basic ones).

Sometimes it also helps to be assertive and speak up about money issues. Strip club managers have encountered a lot of girls facing financial crises(after all, why do you think a good portion of them thought to start dancing??) so they are used to it and often will not judge you as harshly as the "regular world." For example, when I first started, I had absolutely no money at all and all I had were these "unacceptable" clunky scuffed black casual heels, so the female manager felt sorry for me and lent me a $40 pair of shoes, making me keep them at the club when I wasn't working until I paid her back the full amount in $10/day payments. That worked out great for me, because it allowed me to have a fighting chance.

    To the OP: Good luck!

I did purchase a new pair. And while it was a financial burden one must spend moeny to make money(or so they say). The online prices where tempting but do to time restraints I had to purchase shoes at the closest shop and pay a bit more.
