Default i want money not a drink!

when a customer offers a drink i want to say 'no but i'll have the money for a drink instead' but without it sounding so... maybe business like. most of the time they say no, but what is the difference for them? does anybody have any suggestions on how to say this?

you could tell them that the less money he spends on drinks for you, the more time you two can spend dancing, playing in vip, etc.

You could say you've had SOOOO much to drink already(whether you have or not) and you are DYING to get naked for someone ASAP.

You can offer to dance...but there really isnt a tactful way to tell someone you want him to tip you the money he would have spent on a drink

yeah, no matter what, this comes across as incredibly tacky and greedy. i say you can't really ask them for the $.

however, you can do what cameron suggested, and tell them that you've had OHSOMUCH already but you want to take your clothes off right away, and he should benefit!

    Love it!

^I agree. Tacky tacky tacky. Turn down the drink for whatever reason you feel is appropriate, and show how antsy you are to spend some quality private time with him in VIP. Or maybe it wouldn't be that big of a deal to let him buy you a drink. I think some guys feel like they're on a date, and they want to be a gentlemen. And a few bucks towards a cocktail or soda isn't going to take away from your potential earnings. Don't buy the bar, THAT would affect your money, but if worst comes to worst, one drink won't put you in the poor house.

Oh, your club has a drink hustle; that's a different sort of thing. Most of us work in clubs where drinks for the dancers cost the same as those for the patrons. Are all the drinks that price or is that just the price to buy a dancer a drink at your club?

if the drinks are that expensive, i would make it a joke and say "no but i'll give you an 18 euro dance" and look all hot n bothered. well how much are the usual dances? ive always worked in a regular bar with $20 and $60 dances and $5 - $20 drinks ... drinks are usually only $2-4 more if its for a dancer......and the working class guys here bitch about that!

i went to paris once in highschool and miss it like crazy!!! beautiful city. loved my stay... is it a good place to dance? my favorite part was the free ulimited bread, and $10 bottle of water thing. haha in america we always get free water...and versailles. omfg.....the statues.

all drinks are 18 euro each, but the table dance costs the customer 28 euros for 1 ticket which the dancer gets 12 euros (3 tickets for private). paris is a bit weird for me to work in, you really need to know how to hustle and i'm not that good at that as i mainly worked in the day shifts when i was in oz... and i can't stand saturday nights!!! but i have only been there a month and i am working on it. but it is really a beautiful city to live in.

First of all, many times customers offer you a drink because, well, it's pretty rude for a man to sit at a bar without offering a woman a drink, IMHO.

It's not always a one or other thing...generally if a guy offers to buy me a drink, it's a nice opportunity to sit and chat with him for ten minutes, then ask for dances or VIPs.

It shows a man has manners. You don't have to have alcohol also BTW.

WORD. When guys come in looking for company, many times they treat it like a date, right? And VegasPrincess has it right, you can get a soda, a bottled water, even a mocktail.

I usually tell them I'm driving and am too paranoid about the police pulling me over. That works well. Otherwise, in your circumstance, if they aren't regulars of the club and thus do not really know how things work intimately as such... you could always use "I would love to do so however the club has a strict policy of only allowing me to have drinks when I am in VIP" or even "...I'm only allowed to drink once an hour and I've already had my hourly drink" or even "Thanks! Sure... Order me a bottled water!" then if he asks why water and not something alcoholic give him the old "I'm not allowed to mix my allergy medications with alcohol" line

We're actually not allowed to drink at the club I currently work at. When I worked at clubs where I could drink I made more money because guys think you will lose all your inhibitions in the VIP room once you've got a few drinks in ya. So to compensate I tell them the club rule about dancers not being able to drink, but then whisper in there ear that that stupid rule doesn't keep me from drinking before I come in to work. That means he should spend his money with you know while you still have a buzz-you're only going to sober up as time passes.

You can't really ask for the money instead of the drink, but if they think buzzing they're usually more likely to buy dances. If your tactful enough you could get away with a line like, "mmmm...a drink would make me feel good! I wish I could get away with taking one with you. A little tip would make me feel good too though" and play with the side of your thong/garter.
