    Default Rob Abner

This is Rob Abner, the founder and former publisher of Stripper Magazine. Some of you might remember that magazine from way back. Just here to say that I have a new website up called gstringnation.com that is devoted to coverage of the strip club industry the way Stripper Magazine used to. Just want to invite you stripperweb people to stop by and check out the site. Have a Happy New Year! (Hope this post is in keeping with forum rules!)

    Hmm....

3rd post I've seen of yours promoting (spaming?) your new website.

A+ for persistance, but D- for netiquette.

I found this BS on your website, in your "So you want to be a stripper" article:

*Now if you’re a little nervous, we recommend perhaps having a small cocktail to relax your nerves.
*Any many guys like skinny girls, but some (mostly black) like girls with big butts.
*Learning pole tricks will be an important part of becoming a good stripper.

I also noticed there were a lot of very unflattering pictures of girls on the website.

    WTF?

Phil, please leave him alone. I told him posting in Coming Out was a more appropriate way to mention his site after removing the posts you speak of from the Newbie Board. I trust that the members here can judge his content for themselves just as austinatalie has.

I was going to post EXACTLY what austinatalie did. Almost word for word. I hope girls who are interested in getting into this industry come across better information than what you're presenting.

i dont understand why he's allowed to mention his site. i mean, if he wants us to know, he should put it in his sig and post things that are actually helpful instead of annoying (and yeah, spamming us is annoying. as is starting a "followup" to the thread that got closed!)

Does anyone ever say anything nice on this blog? I have an entire site full of all kinds of things. Isn't there anything anyone liked on the entire site?

    1. this isn't a blog.
    2. we arent here to give compliments on your site. if you wanted our opinions you couldve gone about it in a totally different way and gotten a MUCH better response and reaction. we could've been helpful then. now, i'd say good luck.

I said something nice. You need a new webmaster - thats all. The site looks cheaply thrown together in 5 minutes.

You may want to have a stripper write your articles too - since they know the truth about the industry unlike some strip club junkie.

Other than that welcome to the site.

On my pc your ads are 404'd, but i block a lot of stuff.
get rid of the page counter -- that's from the 90's
Put the updated date at the bottom with a page footer and contact info.
Put a horizontal ad at the top and one on the right.
If you want people to visit daily, put an attractive picture up daily.
Add a comment function that is anonymous. You'll get a wide range of input.
You can make the site look cheap or classy. Both work.
Eyeballs >> look at daily picture -- look at ads -- look at smart content
click picture-- see more -- see more ads -- see more suggestive ads
The fonts could be better, i was thinking there is too much conflict in size and colore and position. And I haven't ever made a $ off a website. :-)

and be cool when people give you flack. Don't flack back. You are looking for customers.

Rob i agree with the above^^^. I would like to add if i may. You have "So You want to be a Stripper" i would like to say for any person who wants to be a Stripper first become a customer, instead of going in for an audition. Become familiar with the club scene first, get comfortable. It helps ALOT!

    Good luck with the site.
    And welcome here to SW.

Wow, I didn't think you were still around. Are you the Rob that I had heard about running Vegas Gold?
