Stay FAR AWAY from that place!!! I'm actually one of the first who got involved in bringing her down.. Kinda started with me and a friend...She messed with the wrong to people...LOL

I can lead any of you to any number of sites where many, many wonderful people have documented the facts of this monster, and what she has done to people... It's fraud, a scam, and most end up with an ED {eating disorder} if not worse...

For your health, well being, those you love, and your LIFE, stay away, and keep everyone you know away...

    I'm not exagerating...

Wow "many members drop 5% or more of their total body weight in the first 10 days!" with NO excersize needed whatsoever. Amazing.

wow. ok. Warning sign #1 the earn cash with us link. They offer kick backs if you sell their product.
Warnign sign #2. Read the Kimkins controversy page. They made up sucess stories.

Did you lose 198 pounds in 11 months?
A: No. But I did lose 100 pounds in 6 months.

What about the model photos in some of the Success Stories?
A: The majority of our earliest Success Stories were from another website and we couldn't take those with us. We wanted to show visitors the possibilities with Kimkins. So, while we built up our newest batch, I created stories which were a compilation of successes that people shared with me over the past 10 years. We're extremely proud of the successes of everyone who follows the Kimkins weight loss plan.
What about the people who joined Kimkins because of your weight loss or the success story re-enactments?
A: I offer my sincere apology to anyone who felt misled or joined purely on that basis. That was never my intent. Bottom line is that Kimkins is a rapid weight loss plan that works without surgery, special food or pills.

    This isn't so great either

    Do I have to exercise?

Absolutely not! While cardio has many benefits including conditoning and toning, it does relatively little for weight loss. If a 200 pound woman walked 2 miles she would burn 175 calories. This means it would take 20 days to lose just 1 pound!
Kimkins is low carb, low calorie with no fiber or sugar alcohol subtraction to quickly shed excess pounds!
Very low calorie is bad. Very low carb is bad. People need balancved diets. And no fiber?? People need fiber! Fiber is an important part of the diet!

She spent YEARS on another board, telling people 'her' plan, {Which is is actually Stillmans, with a dash of Atkins thrown in} She posted very old pics of herself as the 'after' {claimed anyway, but family has also said it's not her}She saw $ signs along with another woman, started up her site. .Went from 14.95 to 59.95 right before a Womans World atricle came out..

She posted Russian bride pics as her success stores, The B&A, weren't even the same people! Stole a couple of her pics from there as well.. These were all found, BTW..

There is a lawsuit now, and her funds are frozen, low estimate to be well over 1 1/2 million...

The poor people who join, so many are deperate, and will then start following the PBTP {plan behoine the plan} when she has them cut calories to as low as they can go.. These people are proud to post that they may have had 200-300 cal a day. Some even feel bad that they had that many. .She recomends laxatives, daily...

If you can't so it, she'll become hateful and tell you, you aren't strong enough, you're weak, etc... All the while sitting in front of her computer, eating sugar cookies, and crap, weighing WELL more than 350, probably closer to 400.. The pics she's showing now, since she HAD to admit to the fraud and she wasn't the 118 she has claimed for over 5 years, have still been photo shopped.. That has been proven as well..

I know way to much about this, I know. I'm sorry for going on about this, but the truth has to be put out there, so that no one else falls into her sick trap...

If anyone reading this, is a member, or has been, or knows someone who is, you can find the lawsuit to sign up for.. It will cost you nothing, but the notorey you will need, and postage..

Check out all the links you find on Kimkins controversy.. Lots of great info, and you will see een more than what I've said...

She only came clean and admited she lied, becasue she got caught.. And BTW, her apology wasn't anywhere near sincere... She's a con from way back, also proven with court records...

Again, I'm sorry for going on a little rant about this, but I am heavely involved in this.. I don't want to see anyone else get suckered into her scam...

That's a good question.. It all has to do with the law.. She {Heidi Diaz/Kimmer} was deposed in Nov.. Her son will be deposed in March, I believe.. There are others to be deposed as well..

She was able to delay her's and has delayed her sons. Also, Heidi is asking for a new judge, which will by time.. The thing with the law/court system, is it can be drug out.. All they've been able to do so far is freeze her funds, but not before she started hiding it.. Some of the money went to the purchase of a new house and 2 vehicles, bought with cash.. Which she still could lose...

It makes us just ill, thinking she is still allowed to have this 'business' and scam and de fraud people...
The lawyer handeling the lawsuit is John Tidet {I think I spelled that correctly} Anyway he was the one who took on the ephedra thing, and won... He's a smart one and a good guy.. There is a 140 page document online of wehn they called in hte tech staff, or something {I haven't had the time to read it yet} But John made some excelent points, and remarks.. I've read bits and piees...

I wish I could give you a better answer of the why.. Takes time, but we're closer than a year or more ago...

    More info:

Please note, DietsInReview.com does not recommend the Kimkins diet program. Kimkins has completely misrepresented itself and the information it presents to customers, and in doing so, has endangered the lives of many of those people.
Kimkins broke into the diet scene in 2000 selling itself as the one sure thing to end your dieting chaos. She said she had been an obese 300 pounds and like so many others, struggled to find a diet that worked for her. So she created her own solution- a low-carb/low-calorie diet that she says works incredibly fast. Not only would Kimkins help you lose weight quickly (198 pounds in one year in her case), but the plan would set you up for success for life. Kimkins also excitedly promotes that you won't have to do a single stretch, sprint or sit-up as exercise isn't necessary to achieve these amazing results.

Unfortunately, none of it is true. Kimkins is being investigated for fraud after many customers became seriously ill. Kimkins is an excruciatingly low-calorie diet and none of the information presented as fact as any medical or scientific support. Kimmer herself does not have a nutritional background and her advice is strictly from what appears to be fake experiences.

    PRO
    - None to speak of

    CON
There is a laundry list of reasons why you should not follow the Kimkins diet. Currently the creator, Heidi Diaz, who operates under the alias Kimmer, is the possible subject of a potential class-action lawsuit and under investigation for fraud. Many of the Kimkins customers are becoming dangerously sick from following the Kimkins program. While Kimmer markets the diet as being a quick solution that will last for life, and losing 200 pounds in one year herself, she currently is morbidly obese- not at all what her ads claim.

    - No research or healthcare endoresements
    - Plan contradicts sound medical research
    - Dangerously low caloric intake
    - No exercise
    - Suggested to take laxatives regularly
    - Creator under investigation for fraud
    - Creator does not have any nutrition or medical experience

Additionally, many followers of Kimkins have reported frightening side effects, including:
    - Constant nausea
    - Hair loss
    - Fainting
    - Heart palpitations
    - Fatigue
    - Bone and/or joint pain
    - Constipation

    FOOD
The proposed Kimkins diet is made up mainly of lean protein, very little fat or carbs and no fiber. The diet is said to be based on Atkins, but with Kimmer's personal twist. The average user consumes about 1200 calories a day; many users admit to only about 500 calories a day.

    EXERCISE
Kimkins advertises that you will not need any exercise to achieve your desired goals.

This diet is is sooo dangerous.

I won't post any more articles, but read this link for more info:

this just makes me so angry and sad... the desperation many must feel to turn to this diet only to have a heartless fruad take advantage of them and put thier health in danger. It's sickening.

Sadly, yes. This is why it's so important to get the word out..

There are some 'members' of the KK site that all of a sudden fell off the face of the earth. The had many good friends, and are being searched for.. We hope for the best, but fear the worst...

Mia, it's awful! As you may have noticed, thisis near and dear to me. To get this monster STOPPED!

I mainly lurk here, but when this topic came up, I had to jump in.. I can't stand the thought of anyone falling into this trap...

Her PBTP, is even worse than what you find on Pro ANA sites...

I believe she hates women, and will stop at nothing to harm us...

You should hear the crap she was spouting on skin care... Use Retin A, strongest strength, TWICE a day...

OK, you've seen her pictures... This woman, untill she was proven to not be the woman in pics she posted, was telling people all over, she was a MILF.. She also claimed to be a foster Mom, to ONLY teen boys.. She used to PM me things her 'boys' would say about me.. OK, didn't thrill me, but she felt the need to tell me this. Then I find out, she didn't have any foster boys.. OMG!!!! I was sick...

There is nothing redeamable about her at all. Not one thing...

Yes, I am passionate about this...LOL

I detest liars, cheaters, scammers and fraud...

They are public record. And we don't want to see anyone on the site who is not aware of what was going on (as i was) trying this "diet" and getting sick or perhaps dying.

The best is that she says you dont need cardio but then 2 paragraphs down recommends it.

    Do I have to exercise?

Absolutely not! While cardio has many benefits including conditoning and toning, it does relatively little for weight loss. If a 200 pound woman walked 2 miles she would burn 175 calories. This means it would take 20 days to lose just 1 pound!

Some people will actually avoid beginning a diet because they dread the required exercise of most plans. With Kimkins it's a no brainer! No exercise required.

    and then

What is Kimkins Boot Camp? Is it included in my membership?

Of course! Kimkins Boot Camp is an intense variation of Kimkins and requires 30+ minutes of daily cardio. Many of our biggest and fastest losers did Boot Camp for extra speedy results

Its the same logic used by PL's in the club thinking that hot young stripper is in love with them. They aren't true to themselves, live in denial, and are easy suckers.

Many of us, ended up 'revisiting' our own ED's over all this... Many people have newly developed them... Mine didn't reoccur until I was long into the fight. While a member of the board, a few of us saw what Heidi was beginning to be more verbal about, and not just keeping it to PM's and emails.. We were always telling people to eat, to up calories and fat, etc.. Then she'd swoop in and either delete our posts or strong arm them,.. She had people 'brainwashed' into thinking what she says is backed up medically. It's not!

Yes, you can lose the pound a day, and no, you don't have to excerise.. You're starving yourself, plain and simple... But at what cost.. Your health and possibly life.. Many women have been put in the hospital with severe heart problems.. We hope and pray no one has died, but we'll probably never know for sure...

It's very true, there are so many desperate people out there, that have no clue about losing weight. Some think if it's on the web, it's OK... Some are just at the end of their rope.. It's easy to say it should be common sense, but until you know what it's like to hit rock bottom, or have met and talked to these women, you don't understand...

And yes, as I said in an earlier post, it's worse than pro ANA sites.. Much worse..

    That's sad too.
I struggle with my weight even after losing it. If you have a tendency to gain weight, it is going to be struggle forever unfortunately.

Good food for thought would be that it probably took you awhile to put the weight on, so it should take you awhile to lose the weight.
