Ok, so this is what happened... well happened back this summer... but I'm still brewing about it so I'd like ya'lls opinions. I was working at a promotions company as a booking agent this past summer. All the sudden out of nowhere one day I came into work and was fired on the spot. The explanation... 'we do not want our company associated with that type of behavior.' Now, here's the kicker... I was 6 months pregnant! I hadn't been dancing for awhile at that time, and honestly didn't plan to go back. I don't even know how they found out. I got a huge lecture about how degrading the job was... blah blah blah. Of course I went back to dancing cause here I was... a new mama with no job. Anyhow, has that ever happened to any of you? Was it even legal for them to fire me for something that did not affect my job performance? I loved my job and was very good at it... management and I never had had any problems before this.![]()
