    Default Fess Up

Who watches Lifetime movies? You know, the ones with the dramatic titles like "A Stranger's Betrayel", "My Baby's Missing", etc etc. With the insanely obvious plots, where the woman always comes out victorious, and sometimes with bad acting.

I do, I'm addicted. I love anything about a woman getting out of an abusive relationship, and I also love anything about teen issues, including pregnancy, STDs, etc. The murder-mysteries don't do much for me though. And the ones about babies are touchy... sometimes I can handle them, sometimes I can't.

The most recent one I saw and liked was Girl, Positive. I also like She's Too Young, and Speak (I don't think this was just a Lifetime movie, but it did air on Lifetime)

    So, what about everyone else?

I used to watch those with one of my old roommates. She loved to mock on them. The teen ones are so bad/good.

haha I'm not ashamed or anything to admit I watch Lifetime and freaking enjoy it..most of the time. That's almost all I watched growing up once I discovered that channel. Ever since I've been with my man though who despises that channel, I haven't watched it. I'm sure I'll start watching it again once I get to the end of my pregnancy and have not much else to do but wait!

Oh, and I l-o-v-e-d "She's Too Young," "15 and Pregnant," "Gracie's Choice," "Speak,"....! I wish I could remember all of the titles of the rest.

I used to all the time. Haven't in a while though. It was probebly because my mom would have them on and then you just get sucked in.

^^ yup! thats the one! I remember being 16 and pregnant and my brother was just like her little sister (2 years younger) a bit jealous of all the attention even tho a lot of it was negative attention. Dunno, brings back memories.

Speak was originally a book. Quite a good book, too. Powerful. I hope they didn't ruin that one with bad acting!

I read the book a lot before the movie came out, and I actually really liked the movie, though it did cut out a lot. I thought it was moving in a way that was a little different from the book.
