So I usually work in small clubs in out-of-the-way areas, the kind that only have 5 or 6 girls working at a time. And so I hear this line all the time "Why aren't you working in Vegas where the money is?", "How come you aren't at a big, upscale club?", "You should go to Club XYZ, you are way to good for this place.", and so on and so forth. I guess customers think they are being complimentary but come on! Don't they think dancers are smart enough to figure out for themselves where they will make the most money? I mean, if I really thought I could go to NY or Vegas or FL or wherever and rake in the cash, wouldn't I already be there??? I heard this comment over and over the last couple of nights and it got soooo annoying. Sure the club was really dead, but why say this? Do these guys actually think they are providing useful career advice?
I do not get why guys say this stuff AT ALL! I mean, if they are so happy a hot girl is dancing at a place that for whatever reason they think that girl is too hot for, why would they want to encourage her to leave? Wouldn't it make sense to try to keep that hot girl coming back?
Is this a common line that you ladies in smaller clubs hear frequently?
