    Default breast cysts? lumps?

if anyone can relate or give advice...

I went back on the pill this month after several months off. I noticed today (about the day before my period) that my right one had kind of a weird harder, lumpier part on top. It just feels like there is something extra jiggly and squishy at the top compared to the other one and its kind of tender.

Its really hard to explain the texture--hard but not immoveable, tender but not really painful, just feels..funny.

I was wondering if it was a cyst from the hormonal changes and if anyone has ever had them. I have silicone gel under the muscle implants if that makes a difference. I know i should go to a doc but i dont have insurance right now.

Breast lumps are supposed to be really hard. If you notice further changes or if it doesn't go away, I think you should have a doctor check it out. It's the only way to be sure.

I hate that feeling of not knowing. But just go to the doc and check it out. Lots of caffeine seems to bring out cysts in breasts and I noticed that mine went down when I cut down my caffeine consumption.

Make an appt with the doc and in the meantime, if you drink lots of caffeine, cut down a tad.

Also if its right before your period, that may be the cause too.

Good luck and keep us updated.

    thanks ladies!

I think once my period goes if it is still feeling funny i will just go to planned parenthood. Boobs can be funny things...seems like they feel kind of knotty and bumpy and weird sometimes!!
I am def a caffeine addict so i wouldnt be surprised if that was contributing.

    Which Pill are you on?

When I was on Empresse, my boobs would get rock hard before menstruation- it was bizarre

& On Micronor (progesterone only), after 2 months they doubled in size and then I had a double period and they deflated....Considering the looks on customer's faces, I hope that trick is a hatrick event.

Could be a combination of factors. Massage them and see what happens. Let boyfriend watch too, heh ; P

Well atleast you know that that may be part of it, but obviously still check it out with the docs.
