After reading some previous posts, I've noticed some of you wear false eyelashes everyday.
Do people ask you if they're real or fake? Also, how many hours can you wear them if you do moderate activity before they start to fall off?

I only wear them on days I work. Nobody really asks me if they are real, they just tell me my eyes look pretty. If you apply the glue evenly and put them on right, they should last the whole night. Take the glue with you just in case. It sucks to have half of your eyelash falling off and you're stuck without glue.

I only wear them at work and they stay put for 12 hours. I bring extra glue, just in case.

I wear mine all the time.. No one seems to know, they tell me I have the most beautiful lashes..
Lawdy if they only knew.. I have the shortest, thinnest lashes knwn to mankind...
I usually put a little extra glue on each side, for more anchor and security, and don't have a problem with them oulling away at all..
K, one other question..
are you supposed to be able to see them while wearing them? It's really annoying..perhaps I just have to get used to them
^You're probably not putting them on correctly, like they're angled down a little. Make sure to place them right at your lashline. I think tweezers help to put them on, especially on the corners. They should be able to last a long time, I've slept with mine before (carefully!) and wore them the next day. lol
"I will not be just a tourist in the world of images, just watching images passing by which I cannot live in, make love to, possess as permanent sources of joy and ecstasy. -Anais Nin"
I slept with mine on one night, accidentally, and woke up with a bright red eye. I think some of the glue got in there or something. It was stupid.
I used to wear them daily when I was in high school and people complimented me on my lashes, every once in a while a perceptive woman would ask if they were fake...I wore shorter less dramatic ones though.

For the best placement results, get lashes that come with an applicator.

This is the easiest way to place them on. I've been doing false eyelashes for years and still use the pink applicator. Also apply the glue on the lashes using a toothpick, this will give you the perfect amount of glue, not to much.Pull on the outer corner of your eye to stretch it a bit when applying the lashes. I've also found that using a magnifying mirror helps too.

I get asked every few months if they are real, but it's rare.
The best types r the indervidual flare lashes. The brand i use is Ardell. They r super easy to apply ( with tweezers and Ardell lashtite glue)and are undectable and look natural but so full and lusious.
Everyone coments on how i have such beautiful long lashes, and how lucky my daughter is that she got my lashes lol she got her fathers !
MY TRICK ...... I actually place them underneath your lash line and NOT on top where they are visable.
I wear mine everyday as they aren't a strip lash i can wear them all week without removing them.
Normally i get 6-7 days, less if i moosh my face into the pillow whilst alseep.
No puffy irratated eyes n best of all i wake up looking good
Getting the glue in your eye the first time is normal, it hurts so bad you'll never get it on your eye ball again.
GOODLUCK X x x
i get mine done at the lash shop they are put one one by one i cant wake up and they are not on the stay on for 2 weeks i have to have them or i will die i wear longs

If they're hanging where you can see them, try curling them. You can use a regular eyelash curler on your falsies. I like doing this anyway; it opens the eye and makes it look bigger.
I wear lashes when I work or for special events like girls night out. The only people that ever might even ask if they're real or not are other strippers.
I've tried these exact same lashes and did not have the same experience. I slept with them on and woke up in the morning to find half of them falling off or wonky looking. It was a pain in the ass to remove them. I ended up losing a lot of my natural lashes.
I just stick to the strip lashes now. I only wear them at work, which could be 3 or 4 days out of the week. Only a couple of people have questioned whether they were real or not. They stay on just fine for the entire night, however I make sure to take them off as soon as I get home.
As far as them obstructing your view, they probably weren't applied correctly. You shouldn't be able to see them that much. Just take them off and try to re-apply. Practice makes perfect.
I wore individuals in high school and no one ever knew (or asked anyway). I would use Ardell individuals in short and medium length and strip adhesive, not the individual adhesive. I would apply them into the the lashline like edtifa mentioned. I could usually get about 4 days of wear before I'd start shedding but I also did not use mascara or curl them because then you're just pulling and stressing them. After about 4 days, if I was leaving 'em on that long, I'd start losing a piece or two so I'd just go in and refill or remove and redo.
Now, I don't have the patience for individuals anymore, I just use strips, but rarely ever for anything but work. If you want a really natural look find some invisiband style lashes to start (of course, I always go the opposite route and look for the thickest, lol). I like to put a tiny bit of glue onto my lashline where I'm going to be applying, and I do mean tiny, more is not better! Then I do a small amount onto the false lash, let set a bit and apply with tweezers to the lashes, not the skin where the lashes come from. If you're attaching to the skin the glue can separate easier than if you're bonding to your lashes. Now, here's my favorite trick! After the glue has started setting I take my tweezers and pinch the false lashline into my lashline, with one side of the tweezer on top of my lashes and one side underneath and lightly pinch along the lash. This also helps to keep the ends tacked, not to mention just longer wear in general, I could sleep in my lashes with this application, and it looks the least obvious!

Ahhh.... falsies, how I love thee. I wear them when I work.... I can't be bothered with them otherwise (unless I want to look stunning for a night out). The bad thing about them is that regular wear can cause some natural lash loss. One or two lashes get caught in the glue.... repeat 3-4 days a week and poof..... sparse lashes.
I just hope mine grow back.

I love them and wear them whenever possible. Unfortunately, I feel silly wearing them to my office job but always take advantage of wearing them on any occasion where I go out. I also never wear them all the way across my lashline. I cut off the last 1/3 of the lash and apply them to the corner of my eye-lids. It does not look tell-tale at all and makes you eyes look really sexy and kinda cat-like. I also make sure that I line the eye-lid with a dark eye-liner (liquid or pencil, doesn't matter), it helps "blend" the lash-line. Nothing looks crappier than when you can SEE those little white dots that are between the lashes when girls wear fakies.
I went through a phase where I wore them EVERY day. I was young and now cringe when I look at pictures of myself from the year of 2001. They were just WAY too long and full, it looked theatrical-silly.
If you are going to wear them every day, go for the Ardell individuals. I used those with that crazy-glue stuff that comes with them and they lasted for a few days typically.

I wear them at least 5 days a week, and no I'm not dancing right now. I'm a Makeup Artist, so it's habit for me at least. Whether or not people ask if they're real depends on what style I wear.
On special occasions I wear my MAC lashes, but for everday natural wear I find that Andrea modlash 53 in black is gorgeous, and keeps people guessing.
As long as you don't slather them in mascara.

Why not? I thought that mascara helped the falshies stay put.

^That's always been one of my tricks too. I kind of "drag" the mascara horizontally across the falsies/my lashes and then give them a lil pinch to make the false eyelashes stick and blend with my real ones.
