So I just started my first day at a new club, and I'm not one of those that switches alot, I just moved cross-country. Well, the place is huge, and absolutely gorgeous. Tens, in Mass. for those of you that know it. I was excited to get started because it was so big and glamorous. The thing is, I just didn't like it very much. The customers were no fun. Sure, they were all pretty well off, but I couldn't connect with them like I did with the customers at my old club. I was making less than $20/hour. The stage was huge, and 4 girls on it at certain times of night, but there is only one pole, and most of my routine is pole work. All of the girls were stunningly beautiful, with perfect bodies to boot, which is great for the reputation of the club, but I'm used to being the big fish in a small pond. I would just switch clubs, but it's the only one for at least 40 miles.
So I guess the question is, do I stick it out, change my m.o., and do the best I can, when I don't like it that much, or get a real people job, closer to home, that I enjoy slightly more, but pays far less?
