    Default New to dancing~

I wanted to introduce myself since I'm new!

I'm new to dancing and I actually found this community on wikihow.com

I've been up reading and you ladies (and guys) are really informative! Thanks so much for telling about experiences and the like.

I don't have any exotic dancing experience, but I love being naked (or nearly) and I love dancing while naked or nearly naked. I've done a few nude photos for art projects.

I have a few questions, though:

~How big is too big (as in weight)? I've been told that my figure is fine, but I want to get back into shape.

~What's the general policy on tattoos (for the entire community)? I have 5.

~What was the reason you started dancing?

I thank you all in advance~ Happy Dancing

I'm new too, only been doing this a week. I like it so far. I think performing and acting are fun. How big is too big? Only way to know is to audition. Some guys like thick, so you never know. As far as tattoos, I know of clubs that have a following simply because they have a lot of "alternative" looking women. From my limited experience, it seems that a more mainstream look does sell better, but then again tattoos are also pretty mainstream these days.

Weight and tattoos vary club to club. Every club will have different standards on them.

Your best bet is just to show up at clubs and see for yourself.

Welcome to SW and good luck

^ cally took the words right outta my mouth

i will elaborate a bit though:

for the MOST part, clubs pick girls by "total package" and general body proportion rather than weight. so, if you are in good shape (read: toned) and are just naturally curvy, chances are you won't have a hard time getting hired. if you have many areas with visible excess celulite though, you might have a harder time.

also, there ARE clubs known for only hiring very very skinny girls, but they are not typically the majority.

    as far as tattoos:

it's much easier than it used to be to find a club that allows them. some clubs are more liberal about it than others, but most will at -least- work with you on it. iow, they may ask that you cover some or whatnot.

    Thank you ladies!

I just started something similar to the workout that I read about on stripper-faq.org yesterday and I'm pretty sore. I'm Latina, so I've got curves. lol Not much cellulite or anything, just that I went through puberty and put on 20lbs, mostly in the hips/thigh, so I gotta work that out and tone up my upper body.

    Thanks again!

I think I put "I'm an exhibitionist. I love being naked and sharing my nakedness with everyone who wants to see!" or something. lol Good luck, Tori! <3
