Default changing the club 180 degrees

Im working at a club right now that use to be the best around. Things have happened in a few years (new managers, new rules,...) to where it isnt the best. Im talking to the new managers (they've managed other clubs b4) about getting the girls to make the club fun again. I need your help with getting tips on making a club better... from rules to hustling. not exactly one on one dancer hints, but more working together with other girls to djs to waitresses... anything would be awesome.

I havent at all, been stripping long at all. so your little advice might make the biggest difference

Let me guess. You just got brand new managers and they're pretending to actually care about getting input from the dancers. Believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see. You can learn almost nothing about a SC manager's philosophy by listening to what he says. See how they handle issues. See how quickly changes are made. See if they are consistent. (Sorry.... just a bit jaded.)

It all comes down to what management enforces. Some of the best things I've seen enforced...

-girls were fired for being mean to other girls. Management absolutely did not tolerate hazing or fighting of any kind. Dressing room fight = you're never working at our club again. They always stressed that if you had a prob with another girl that we should go to them and they would mediate and nip it in the bud.

-it helps when everyone's not totally out for themselves. At my last club, most girls would get their customers to tip the dancers on stage if no one was tipping. We all made it fun to tip each other with the custies' money.

-help your waitresses and VIP hosts get tipped.

This business is cutthroat , but common courtesies go a long way. It also doesn't hurt to encourage (not nag) your custies to tip.

As for making a club "fun" ... whose word is that? Yours or managements? All I know is that girls aren't having fun when they're not making money. It takes a real professional to smile through the slow times when money sucks. It's really up to the individual dancer to have a good attitude no matter what. On the other hand, when management is not doing their job to promote, advertise, get new customers through the door, and keep old customers feeling like VIP's, then you'll have a club full of broke-assed, pissed off girls not having much fun at all.
