Wow that is the longest sentence I've ever read!

Welcome to Oregon ! Yep there is a slower hustle here, it sounds like. Guys like to talk with a girl for a bit before being asked for a dance.

Try to play up your experience. Come up with some sexy lines about "knowing more than all the little girls there" and how older ladies are more free sexually blah blah blah, guys really do eat that crap up.

I don't know what to say about dances being $20, $60 seems crazy to me, but that's because I'm not used to it, so if you could sell those before, you should be able to get $20 dances easy. And always start by assuming they'll buy more than one. I always say "dances" when I'm bringing it up.

    Good Luck!

Hi Otheia, you will prob make less money than texas. I think that alot of the Portland customers will be intriqued by your stories about texas and that will be great conversation starter. Also men with money are more interested in a lady they can have conversation with than a cute little 20 something. Another good thing to contemplate is contact level. It is really low in oregon compared to Texas. After awhile you will probably feel spoiled here.

If you've been out of dancing for a while, please keep in mind that the change for the worse in the economy in the past couple of years has severely limited dancer averages since you were in the game. Just be prepared for a huge attitude/paradigm shift when you start. I've never heard of $60 dances. Hell, dances at my club are $10 full nude!

$20 dances add up quick. That's one good thing. And it sounds like you have wonderful resources to pull from when it comes to making great conversation. You'll probably spend the first two weeks in minor shock as you take it all in and get used to your club's specific hustle... so give it some time and try not to be discouraged going in. As you get used to your new club your average will go up up up.

Hustle Hut is amazing. Read up! We're here to help!

I'm sorry for your personal struggles as of late. Good luck with dancing and your new beginnings.
