Default Q about Brisbane/Gold Coast Clubs

Which clubs allow you to work your own days? I don't care about staying there 9pm-6am whatever, but I would really like to be able to come at 6pm on the days I want, as opposed to being scheduled.

I've decided to embrace the workaholicism while still keeping a day or two aside for my friends so I can employ the Make Lysondra Rich by Thirty scheme. I just want a club I can go, "Hm, I think I'll work at Club X tonight". They would probably like me anyway because I'd mostly work weekays and never weekends. They need more girls to do that, I'm sure.

I'm not terribly concerned about 'good money'. I seem to flourish pretty well when others don't. It's not about the money really anyway. A fun environment would be nice. So I can enjoy my working days and make a little extra cash for my precious savings.

Forget about Hollywood and Cheerleaders on the Gold Coast.

You MUST schedule yourself a week in advance. Goodness, I've gone without work for a week because I forgot to put my roster in on the Monday (like this week.. I'm hoping I'm still eligible to work next week!!).

Plus Cheerleaders (I was informed last night) is going to start being a little more stricter with who they hire as they are not in need of any more girls.

Both Cheerleaders and Hollywood can choose to be picky as they are not in "want" of other girls.

You could try Toy Box or Players on the Gold Coast for more flexible schedules?

Granted, Players still exerts some power as to when you can and cannot "go" when you are at work tho' ... yet they are always willing to hire anyone with a pulse (that is the reputation this club is starting to receive).

Then there is the fact that Cheerleaders earliest shift is 8pm start (and usually stage doesn't start to happen closer to 8.30pm or 9pm)... forget about Hollywood and Cheerleaders.

Are you saying I'm not hot enough to be accepted! How dare you!

I don't mind rostering a week in advance. I just wanna be able to say no for like, 4 weeks, and come back and do four days or whatever...

Well, here is an example of what is happening at Cheerleaders:

    http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sho...ostcount=16877

Monday is the day you put in your roster and even then you aren't guaranteed the nights you want to work. Some girls are bumped from Hollywood to Cheerleaders some weeks to "fill in the gaps" as such.

All you have to do is just say "I'm away on holidays this week" on Monday.

You can also be put on reserve for some nights in case they need girls so they call you up first to see if you can work over a random mass text message to everyone.

I still say forget about working at Hollywood or Cheerleaders. Not against you not being hot enough.. it is the fact that they do "cap" the dancers at both clubs and as is evidenced by my Random Thread message I posted above...

Well where I am has a mega-ton of girls on right now, its like lots of girls have flocked there from other clubs - it hasnt been busy either which might be the case in other clubs too I guess. The clubs fee system is weird so it youre not working full time its possibly not worth coming in just on the less busy nights unless you have regulars. Sunday for instance, 16 girls rostered on and there was only 4 - 8 customers in the club at any given time (no one for the first hour.)

    Even teeth are optional

Bah I'm leaving my club. All my friends are going to Hollywood, so I feel like I should lemming them. BUT. That stage seriously freaks me out. I know it's silly to avoid a club over something I have to do once or twice a night, but I'm seriously unco. I rely soley upon looks and charm, and not actual dancing ability.

Did you find a club Lysondra?

EVERYONE dances at Hollywood! I wouldn't rush to leave your own club unless there is a very damn good reason to do so. Honestly. There is MORE than enough girls dancing at Hollywood. They only keep hiring girls because of the unreliability of other girls yet this means the club is FLOODED.

Why is EVERYONE wanting to dance at Hollywood? It's a great club yet not that awesome.

Well I want to work there because I'm sick of paying sometimes over $800 a night in fees, for a start. It honestly does not affect me how many girls work, I work harder the more girls there are, as long as there are a lot of customers. Also a lot of my friends are down there now, and we tend to work in teams.

At the moment pretty much every club I would still consider working at in Brisbane is beyond dead. My club was doing ok until they decided to demolish half of it this week while they renovate. It looks like it's about to fall down. Customers walk in, and walk straight back out again.

So for me Hollywood is just a temporary fix until my homeclub finishes its renos.

I can totally relate to the paying out shitloads in fees ... and wondering why? This is why I like Cheerleaders. More laid back than Hollywood, less strict than Hollywood, cheaper fees than Hollywood... yet sometimes comparable money as Hollywood.

If you have ANY tattoos (well, tattoos that aren't small etc), you will most likely be recommended to work at Cheerleaders btw..... just a "heads up" on that one.

Plus you DO have to buy the Hollywood underwear whilst working at Hollywood. Hey, it's actually sexy underwear so it isn't that big a deal

If you have any specific Hollywood questions, mermaidnz currently works there.

Just a heads up: Hollywood is NOT hiring at present.

If you come down to the Gold Coast to audition for Janine (the lady who determines who is hired for both Hollywood and Cheerleaders) you are doing so to work at Cheerleaders.

Cheerleaders is not in desperate need of any more dancers by a long shot, however Hollywood is CHOCK FULL of girls. Thus if she does hire you, it is for CHEERLEADERS.

I state this as poor Janine was tired because she had to audition, go thru all the hassle in re auditioning and hiring ... three separate girls... only to have two of them (supposedly from Bad Girls in Brisbane too) after being told over the phone by Janine that she is only hiring for Cheerleaders... to say that they were only interested in working at Hollywood.

She does NOT appreciate her time being wasted like that... I am posting this to hopefully save everyone having their time wasted.

If you want to work at Hollywood, no go. It is flooded with dancers. More than enough.. too many in fact. You will only have a hope with being hired at Cheerleaders.

    omg yes.

hollys is massively full right now, theres loads of girls not able to get on the roster, and theres still 5-8 girls most nights in reserve on the rosters.

    HOLLYS VS CHEERS
i hear from alot of grils who are regular hollys grils thats cheers is actually really good, its a lower hussle club, and some of them say the money is just as good as hollys-esp considering theres alot of competition there.
in regards to tattoos, vee, alot of hollys girls have tats, but they are all tasteful or well placed. i guess its taken on a case by case basis, obviously if you have a skull and flames tat covering your whole back its not gonna be so well accepted, but a cute stamp stam on your lower back, and a few girls tats etc, wont be so bad-so long as your still hot looking and dress well? just a guess tho, dont quote me on that!

im pretty sure neither club allows walkins, but you could always roster a week in advance?

Oh, I'm just repeating what Janine and Jess have said to me about the hiring process etc. Generally, tattoos are taken on a case by case basis however if you are tattoo-ed like a current dancer, Kitty, at Cheerleaders (one whole leg is obviously 'done') then you will be at Cheerleaders.

Also, from what Janine said to me last night about the income potential of both clubs... they are pretty even.

In the end, neither club is hurting for dancers. Hollywood especially.

So do not bother applying for work at Hollywood at all at present. You will only be hired for Cheerleaders and even then Cheerleaders is not hurting for dancers.

... and yes... no walk ins! You have to make an appointment (as such) for the audition. The audition will determine whether you are hired or not...
