    Default Ringworm!!

I have ringworm in two small areas on the front of my right upper-leg, about maybe four inches from one another. I bought the tinactin powder spray and put it on the spots just now, has anyone else had ringworm? Did it go away pretty quickly? Did it get out of control?? Right now the two spots are small and minor, you wouldn't notice them unless the light was good and you were really looking/I pointed it out. I'm worried that the tinactin wont work and that it'll spread out of control in between then and now.

I think I might have gotten this from crawling around on the stage floor where a bunch of other girls have been, sweating and all that.

From what my doctor told me it's highly unlikely that it's picked up at work. Rather, you already have it present, like athlete's foot, and then the conditions get hospitable enough on your body for a flare-up.

Keep the area clean, use the medication religiously, and I wouldn't work with it uncovered as certain types can glow in blacklights. I hope it clears up soon! It sucks.

Best way to get rid of ring worm is to cover it in vaseline and a large bandaid. Basically, your smothering the thing and it will die off in about 3 days more or less. My boys had it when they were little. Cats and dogs are known to carry it

You can use the cream they advertise for athlete's foot. It contains an anti-fungal and will get rid of the ringworm in a day or two. I'd leave it uncovered unless you are at work. You definitely don't want to have it out in the open there.

What is athlete's foot like? I don't know what to do. If I leave it uncovered, it'll touch stuff, including other parts of me, but if I cover it I'm worried that having it sealed under the band-aid will help it thrive under there. I can only medicate it at work if it's under a band-aid though, or the white medicine powder will really glow. WTF?
