One less debt I gotta worry about, and $360 a month I can put toward the next one!
Now that she's all mine, she needs some Oregon tags.

Congrats!
I am sooooo jealous!
Congrats Yek!! I'm so happy to see you so happy!!!
Woohoo! Party time! I am so happy for you. There is nothing so great then being out of debt, especially, when it comes to a car.

Hurrah! Oregon seems to agree with you.![]()
Well, I would've had to make this last loan payment regardless of whether we'd moved here... but yeah, it's a good omen. My minimum expenses now come out to about $1000 a month, so everything else I make is for savings and getting out of debt!
good for you!!! if you don't mind me asking how many years did it take you to pay it off????

Congrats!!

Way to go, Yek!
JK Jim

Yay! Hopefully I'll be right there next month!
It's your birthday...shake your ass now ....it's your birthday!!!!! Congrats!! I soooo hate u right now...but still congrats!!!![]()
I took out the original loan in September 2003, and I was supposed to pay it off August 2008. A couple of years ago my ex-husband wanted to buy a house but the loan was still showing up on his credit report, so I took out a personal loan to pay off the original one and get his name off it. I took a slightly higher payment to pay it off three years from that date instead of five. But I bought the car in September 2003, so it's been about four and a half years total. And she's all mine!

Good for you. Remember, savings, savings, savings, savings!! Even if it takes you a few extra months to pay the debts off, you will have cash in the bank for future emergencies and purchases.

Drought was over. Where was I? Drinks were on the house.
For mixers, my love, you'd poured--what?--even the rain.
Yay! It's nice to see you in a good money place.

Hells yeah on the savings. The goal is to average $1000 a week for the next year. If I do that, I can put a thousand a month into savings and $1500 a month toward debt and still live very well. K will be putting at least $1000 a month into our savings account as well, and early next year we're hoping to put down about $30,000 to $40,000 on a mortgage. I'll be debt free by then too if all goes according to plan. It does hinge on a grand a week but that should be doable once I get settled in a decent club and/or get a straight job with part-time dancing, webcam, phone sex, etc.
Looks like K may be in Chicago from February through May, so I won't have anything else to do except make money and exercise for a few months.
Man, this feels good, to be getting my shit together. May It Stick.
I'm off for a five-mile run through the park.![]()
Congratulations! A monthly car payment is such a drag.
