    Default Clip in hair extensions

Does the widest piece go on closest to the nape? I thought it did, but it is too wide for my head, I was considering trimming it but I looked on line first to make sure that I was putting it in the right spot and I ran across a website that said the small pieces go in down below? I have a set of about 7 clip in pieces. One really wide (about 5 clips?) one almost as wide and then the rest have 2 clips.

    Thanks for any help!

Oh, and if I cut it down to fit better, any tips on if that has worked for anyone would be appreciated.

I put my widest piece right above my ears.

Thanks sweetie, I'll just experiment with where to put it. But that sounds right, because that's the widest part of the head.

I start at the base of my neck and work up.

    The widths are like this
    -----
    ------
    ---
    ---
    - there are four that are singles I use them on the sides and to fill in.

Ew, I don't like hers. It doesn't look blended or layered to blend.

I think everyone puts them in slightly different as far as rows etc. I think it's just important to find the best way for you.

I like this youtube of putting them in though.
