    Default mac gold fluidline

I was seduced at the mac store into buying a gold fluidline, which is eyeliner for any of you who don't know. This may sound stupid, but what can I do with it? What eyeshadows would look good with it? I have tan skin and dark, almost black hair. When I tried lining my eyes with it, I felt like it didn't show up enough against my skin. Of course, I'm used to doing dark, smokey eyes. The color is so pretty, but I'm at a loss here. Any suggestions would be helpful.

continue with the exotic appeal and look up egyptian make-up and do something similar. You already have the coloring, just do the costume and make-up, paired with mythical music, you will be the only one like that in your club

Put a little Magick in your night.

You can use it as an eyeshadow base.

I feel the same way about gold eye liner with my skin tone. Personally I only like black or very dark brown on me. I need the contrast lol. You could use it as an eyeshadow base like shasta suggested. You could also line on top with black and use the gold on the bottom.

You should ask on this forum:

Or go back to girl that sold it to you and tell her you don't know what to do with it. She should be able to give you quite a few suggestions.

I LOVE that stuff. I use it as a base - then I use Mulch to give depth (outside on lid and in the crease) along with Nylon as a highlighter (inside corner and under brow) I then put a thin line of black liquid liner (or black fluidline). Lastly black liner inside the inner rim and tons of mascara or false lashes.

This is how I do my makeup daily. Its sexy

I used to use the fluidlines as a base but recently started using the paint pots as a base. I love golds! I am not sure what shade of gold your fluidline is but I use the gold paint pot with amber lights on top.

This is awesome-- and I have both mulch AND nylon! Thanks! This sounds like the kind of look I'm used to.

Use gold to line the bottom of your eyes to make them pop.

How do you use the fluid line as a base? Like, which brush would be good for that?

I use a concealer brush - put it on the lid kinda thick then take my finger and blend up a little bit so theres not a noticable line

I got the bright blue fluidline and it makes my eyes all red and shit. I think I'm allergic to it.

-You can use it as a base like the others girls suggested. Black e/s on of a gold base looks hawt.
-To line the lower lash line.
-As a highlighter for the brow bone
-As a liner on top of black e/s
-On top of black mascara or the top of your eyelash tips.

BTW fluid line can be used as a mascara applied with a Mascara Fan brush ( like the MAC 205 brush ) for luscious lashes. This is what I do when i don't feel like wearing faux ones.

    ^^I concur!

I love the new pain pots, I only have a real neutral (painterly) as a base but it works so well, I just might have to try other colors.

Like I already don't have enough MAC

Ahhh but one can never have to much MAC. As my slogan goes... MAC is like Crack.

I have Indianwood and Moss Scape... Planing to purchase more.
