    Blue vs. Pink

So, I'm pretty much a noob, here. Been around for a few days now. Wanted to say thanks to those who have welcomed me, and those who have shown patience with my posts while I feel out the atmosphere of the boards.

I am wondering what happened to the blue side. It looks like almost every thread over there besides the 300-page monsters are absolutely dead. Does anyone post over there? I added some input on some of the more recent threads a few days ago, and it looks like they haven't been touched since.

For that reason, I find myself over here on the pink side a lot. From what I've read, some of the long-time blues will probably call me a suck-up and PL for saying this, but I'd like to ask that you pink-side veterans please let me know by PM (or just post flaming me, I can take it) if I butt into a thread I really don't belong in. I'm not here to try to make anyone uncomfortable. I'm just a strip-club loving idiot who fell in love with the whole club culture some years ago. I'm more comfortable around dancers than I am around women who work more mundane jobs. Hell, if I had any kind of a public voice, and appreciation for a wider taste in music, I'd probably work in a club as a DJ.

Well Snappa, if you ever post in a thread and say anything that offends any of us, there won't be a need for PM's because you will know. Trust me
I don't go to the blue side so I don't know what to say about no one posting there, but I can say that as long as you respect the ladies on the pink side, you are more than welcome here!

^^^^^^^Agreed. I have posted a few times on the blue side and you are right. There is nothing going on over there.I go over there to see if there is anything new and there aren't even any users online. So feel free to post here if you would like.

We do; we're just a lot more efficient about posting, generally speaking.

It's not terribly active. Nor does it feel a need to be. When a topic comes up of interest, it generates discussion. When the discussion has run its course, or even far past its course, it quiets down until the next discussion.

I'm quite comfortable with it, but I'm also a guy who can sit comfortably in silence with a friend. If that's boring, then so it goes.

The only reason I ever check in over there (unless I'm alerted to something specific) is to see if there's anything new in the saga of Jeff, the Grand Poobah of All PLs.

Thumbs up Re: Blue vs. Pink

Welcome Snappa. As the name of this forum suggests, it's primarily of, by, and for strippers. So if you want to gain insight into the real world of exotic dancers, both in and out of the clubs, this is a good place to start. But there's also an unwritten rule for us guys: we're just observers some of the time. It's best for this forum to stay a place where girls/women will feel comfortable talking to each other w/o too many guys jumping into each thread. You'll learn over time when it's appropriate to and when the ladies just want to talk amongst themselves. But you're welcome to peak in. I've made a few friends here simply by being a gentleman and giving some encouragement when someone needed it. A kind word can go a long way in making someone's day.

The blue side symbolizes more of the male point of view
--and is a pun on the other meaning of the word "blue".

    (emphasis mine)

Stripclubjunkie doesn't show users on line because it is a subset of Stripperweb and even if you are over in Blue you show up in Pink. Folks browsing either section show up online at the bottom of the main SW forums page.

Pink has always been busier than blue. Makes sense because most active members on the Pink side are current or former dancers. And it is a livelihood interest for them as opposed to an occasional hobby.

Snappa, by all means, post where you are most comfortable.
