It's a documentary about Japanses "hosts" -- male entertainers who are paid to entertain female patrons in a weird mix of street hustling, VIP entertaining, and prostitution. It's twisted...you can get it on Netflix.

yeah, it's brutal viewing. there was a thread about it some while back.
Yes! Its amazing..sad too.. The mind games the hosts play are very similar to what we do as dancers..

This may sound weird, but I was psyched to work after watching this. It made me greatful I don't have to throw up my champagne or HAVE to drink. The main guy's inner-conflict was so easy to relate to also. I admired his "game" skills even though my boundaries are different.

I would LOVE to see this. I'm fascinated with movies and documentaries on anything in the adult industry. Thanks for sharing!

Seriously. That guy's hustle was so brilliant it was evil. Remember when he's telling that female customer that all his girlfriends have been customers, because that's the only way he can meet women? And when she starts getting persistant about wanting to date him, he tells her he "hates it when things come too easily" and next thing you know she's telling him she's not ready for a relationship...
A juicy little portrait of a fascinating world. I highly recommend it. You'll see so much of your own work in it.
Oh--it's available for free here (along with a TON of other must-see documentaries): http://www.moviesfoundonline.com/gre...ness_space.php
