    Default Safe to eat?

I discovered some raw shrimp in the back of my freezer from 09/06. I had gotten them from the counter since they were on sale and apparently lost them back there. Are they safe to thaw out and eat? On that note, how long can stuff last if it's kept in the freezer?

You should probably just throw them out. Raw seafood is enough of a slippery slope as it is.

But well over a year old.... just throw them out, even if they were in the freezer, I doubt they are still good.

i heard that 3 months is safe to keep raw meat/seafood. But if you eat them and get sick blame my sources, not me!
