    Default Lush must haves

What is your favorite Lush products? What are the must haves?

I'm espicially interested in hearing about bath melts.

    My absolute must haves are

    1. The comforter
    2. Buffy
    3. Alkamaar soap to shave
    4. This purple bath melt that was discontinued, I just tried it the other day and I absolutly loved it. Wish it wasn't d/c. Forget the name.

Kaylinn, the melt you are referring to is Something Wicked This Way Comes (SWTWC). I love it too.

    My Lush must haves:

    Buffy (always)
    Flying Fox s/g
    Rockstar soap
    Snowcake soap
    Comforter bbs
    All that Jas bomb
    Blackberry bomb
    Big Blue bomb
    Floating Island melt
    MMM melt
    Amazonian massage bar
    King of Skin moisturizer

That's all I can think of for right now.

ETA: OMG, I forgot Dream Cream, Ocean Salt, and Lemony Flutter!!

    Buffy
    Skinny Dip (buttercream)
    Ocean Salt Scrub

Still experimenting with the other stuff. I'd really like to try some of their hair masks, and I want to try one of the melts. The bubble bars and bath bombs are nice, but it's mainly Buffy and Skinny Dip that I can't live without!

Has anyone tried the natural deodorants? I would really like to find a deodorant without aluminum that actually works.

i would be very careful. on the lush forums many people have had problems with one of them (im not sure which one) and it caused discoloration, pain, and a rash.

Aromacreme gave me fire pits from hell

I've heard good things about Coconut Deo powder, but haven't tried it yet.

    Thanks everyone for the suggestions!

I have decided that next time I Lush shop, I am gonna buy set's for each bath. Like, 5 bubble, 5 melts, and 5 bombs, in coordinating smells, then break each in half, package them together in the sets and I will have enough for 10 baths, and everythgin will be ready to go. I'll justpull a package out and know it all will match and smell pretty and be perfect.
    Or something like that.

They are ok. Just don't drop it on the floor like it did. It turned into powder

Thanks for your help, ladies. I'm kind of scared now. I'll probably try one but I'll stay away from the aromacreme.

What is the best way to break the bombs and bars in half? With a big serrated knife, or is there a better method?

I don't use a serrated knife on my bubble bars, I just use my regular big knife. Seems like a serrated knife would crumble it along the cut. A big knife cuts through a bubble bar just fine. I did the same thing with my Mr. Butterball bomb because it was thin and flat, but with the big round bombs I haven't tried cutting them. I just use the whole bomb.

BTW, add Haagenbath to my list of must-haves. OMG. It's wonderful!

I need my bf to do it for me haha! I find knives dangerous esp when I'm using them. Most of the time I just use a whole bomb though. I've heard the best method is to jam a flathead screwdriver into the "seam", then tap it gently with a hammer. You are least likely to hurt your self this way.

Remember to split it in a bag in case one half crumbles.

I recommend new Lushies read the "Lush Lessons" thread on the Lush forum, it's super informative, with tons of tips for getting the most out of your Lush! It's super long, but most of the main tips are in the first few pages.
