We finally found K's digital camera and snapped a pic! Actually we snapped a ton of pics but this is the only one that wasn't totally blurry, LOL... it's hard to shoot a hummingbird. But here he is! Isn't he pretty?

I just realized you can see the ice in the feeder! I can't believe there's a hummingbird out in this kind of cold!

That's a cool picture!
So pretty!!
He's beautiful! What a neat little friend.
We need to get a picture of Manjula too (his girlfriend) but she hasn't been by this morning... hm. Hope they didn't have a fight or something!![]()

Awh thats so cool!
What a cute little fella.
AWW! gorgeous! One flew in to my garage in the summer time and then it couldn't get out, I felt so bad but I didn't want to touch it. It got out after an hr, I could hear the poor thing going nuts, I think it was blind or something cause the door was open. Anyway if that would happen again what should one do?
If you have a net, you can catch it and let him out. He wasn't blind, he's just a hummingbird - they don't get the idea of flying lower to get out. They'll try to get out by flying higher, rather than ducking down under the door. They do that in my grandparents' garage all the time, and my grandfather has to catch them in a net and let them go.
omg he must be freezing!!! where do humming birds go in portland when it's this cold out anyways?? It was like 25 degrees last night!
Oh ok then, I shall get a net for the spring. They are so beautiful, I don't want the little fella to get hurt :9 Thanks for the advice.
So pretty!! I wish we had hummingbirds here...
Thats a great shot. He is adorable!
Apu and Manjula!!Those are awesome names. It's cool that you could get a pic of him. They move so fast.
Rad picture!!

I wish I could take credit for the pic, but unfortunately for me, K took that one. Mine were all blurry! I hate digital cameras, with that stupid delay after you push the button. We both took several pics and nearly all were blurry. Hummingbirds are not good photographic models.

I love him. I should get one of those feeders. They have hummingbirds here, right?

G-Real, he sits on the feeder occasionally but not often and not for very long. They don't rest much!

That's so beautiful! I'm glad you've found such a special friend so soon in Portland. Can't wait to see the girlfriend!
Because there ain't no tits on the radio
Potential hummingbird porn. Film it!
