    Old leather

I have just dug out a pair of old thigh high leather boots I bought back in 1988. They are still in fairly good condition except the leather has started to go a bit hard in places. Is there anything I can do to soften them up again or should I just turf em?
They cost me $200 back in the day which is fucking outrageous!

Oil. You can get special leather oil, but any old vegetable oil will work.
