    Getting to work

So I order my shoes and outfit etc, practice a bunch, check out some clubs, and then just as I'm all set to start stripping, my car dies. Just my freakin luck!!

Kaylin suggested looking on craiglist to share a ride with someone (thanks girl!) so I'll see how that works out....any other ideas would be much appreciated!! Has anyone else had to deal with weird getting-to-work ways?

    Thanks ladies!

Sharing a ride with someone you trust would be best. Or you could have a friend take you in exchange for some gas money or something, so that they'll want to. Please do NOT take public transportation, that can be so dangerous for a dancer.

I have my own driver, if he can't pick me up he sends someone that he knows well.. Then again, I only live 4 minutes away from one club and ten from another. I suggest making friends with a few girls. YOu would be surprised how many actually drive over an hour to get to work and would love the company.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..

At the very least you could spend a few days in that town in a hotel, at least until you have made enough money to fix your car.

Pay a friend to be your transport?

Ya that's a way smarter idea than taking a Greyhound, taxi, and all that. You will be disappointed and it'll mess with your perceptions of the job....you are not going to make enough money where it's worth all that! Been there done that with the buses-not-running-at-night thing.
