Default Put Me In My Place

    Hello everyone,

I'm posting this in the Lounge because it seems like a neutral place. I have read through enough past threads on various forums to realize that I, being a male who does not work in the industry, am not exactly welcome everywhere on stripperweb. That's fine. I understand why.

I registered onto SW because my wife is seriously considering auditioning for the first time soon. She is totally new to the club scene (as am I). I finally got her to also register here, though she never has time to just sit and read old threads. I just want to be knowledgeable about what she is getting into.

Having said all that, I want to know when and where it is appropriate for me to post questions and/or reply to other people's threads. My comments will be mostly on her behalf, though sometimes from my own thoughts or experiences. I want to make the best use of this great resource, but also not offend you all. This becomes a problem for me if I have a question that is industry related and appropriate for a forum like "Hustle Hut", even though I myself am not "industry related". Is it OK from time to time, as long as my posts are appropriate and respectful and I don't present myself as an arrogant know-it-all? I would especially like to hear from the veteran members and moderators. Also, other guys who know their way around here.

    Thanks,
"If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy."

Well, is their any way your wife can come on and ask the questions. Seems that you are very concerned about your wife and want her to have the best possible everything in the dancing industry. I can not help you because I am just a customer. The dancer here have been nothing but courteous to me and very sincere and it takes time for a new member to get used to SW.

Read the stickies! Apparently we all can be save from dumbass-ness if we pay attention to those.

Just stay out of Stripping General and Hustle Hut. Have wifey ask questions in the newbie section if she wants to know about the industry. Also, try doing a search about yours and her questions first to see if they've already been answered.

Really tho...your wife needs to do the majority of posting. You're not going to get too much attention. I really wouldn't worry so hard.....you will find everything you need by searching and reading old threads, and ask her to ask questions.

^Yup. Really, if she wants to know something, she should ask.
