    Default beauty trends

so, please direct me to another place if nessicary.....(ive never started a thread before)

I've noticed a growing trend in Fabulousness

It seems as though the "glam" look is going out and the "natural" look is coming back in.

am I the only one to notice this? or maybe its just my geographic region(pacific northwest)?

    let me know

    thanks

I think so. In my club, it's these types of girls who have been getting all the dances lately. I swear the ones who look like they just rolled out of bed and came to work are banking whilst I am lonely in the corner with all my makeup and hair done.

Was it my CL or on the thread here, I saw an ad for a 20-something just DYING to hook up with a female with REAL PUBIC HAIR. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!! He was so sick and tired of every girl he's been meeting being hairless. Maybe the same way fake bi is going out of style.....the backlash! JK. Who ever knows enough to make a big theory on that. But I know a lot of earth crunchy types live in your region, so.

'Natural' doesn't compliment my features, but I toned down to neutral colors. Using almost nothing but Shroom, Espresso, and a little bit of black gel liner and some Carbon.

Some days I make more wearing a T-shirt and panties at work than a cute outfit. My manager throws a fit, he says I look like I'm going to Meijers with no pants. But I have 2 theories - being comfortable is sexy, or maybe the more it looks like you just got fucked the more men like it.

Hmmm.....maybe so! Cause when I say these girls look like they just rolled out of bed, I mean literally, ratty hair and no makeup or makeup that looks like they slept in it the night before.

In most the clubs I work in, thickness and exotic looks seem to bank more than the skinny, toned 'all- American' look. Also, music in these clubs leans toward rap and hip-hop instead of rock or alternative. Even the one of the DJ's is coaxing me slowly into dancing more to hip-hop. He says I'm a good enough dancer to make the 'transisition'. I'm a bit annoyed since I am more of an alternative rocker, but it makes more money there.

At my other club, typically, thin, toned girls, real or fake and on the taller side tend to make more money. ( I wear my 7in. plus heels here). The dj picks for us and the music is on the mellow side and never offensive.

I try to stay somewhere in the middle, not too thin or thick but as toned as I can.

My wear my hair naturally curly for the 'hip-hop clubs' and sleek and/or waved for the later. My make up is sort of 'clean-glamourous' for the latter as well. Whlie I experiement w/ colors or not for the hip-hop place.

It's called the "Freshly Fucked" look.

yep! and I'm loving it! I used to get my hair done every time I went to work, now if it's a weekday I barely even wash it. I put on a little bronzer and a little eyeliner/mascara, and I go to work! Getting ready for work takes so much less time now- and that means more money for me!

i've noticed that too, and i hate it. i've tried to go "natural", but i don't think "natural" is what strip clubs are about. it makes me feel very unnatural. cuts into my confidence too much. i've tried to just tone down and use more neutral colors instead.

I've totally noticed it lately and its left me scratching my head. I've finally perfected my "glam" look (mini dress, waist length black hair, polished makeup) and its the new girl who comes in with Walmart undies, matted/messy hair and an average body that seems to be banking. I'm thinking perhaps guys are just interested in girls that look like they actually have a chance with IRL.

I can't really pull off the "natural" look as much as I've tried. I think its one of those you have it or you don't looks. It kind of seems like the difference between say regular Victoria's Secret models and the younger, fresher Pink models.

Hmmm, I havn't noticed this in my club. However, I've got fairly small eyes and lips so no matter how much make-up I pile on it nearly always looks like just a small touch of it. However, I spent the last 6 months going in with my frizzy combo of wavy/curly/striaght hair totally natural, an dI made less mony. I make a couple hundred more when I blowdry with a round brush and curl the face framing pieces. My hair type isn't common though. It literally never ever looks good i fI let it air dry wthout braiding it or bunning it or something to get a somewhat uniform pattern of wave to it.

Both! When you feel you look good, you radiate it somehow. And if your aren't feeling it, they can tell. I don't know how, but they can certainly tell. And the just-fucked look, they love that crap. Every now and then I wear my hair naturally to work, which is shapeless and really ugly! But they like it and they tell me it looks wild and like I just had rough sex.

Prsonally the younger VS girls I don't find cute at all. And I think most o fthe time Alessandra Ambrosio and Karolina, etc have somewhat natural looking makeup and sex hair. I think the new girl miranda is pretty, but so young looking it creeps me out to see her in panties. Like it literally makes my skin crawl. I know she's really like 19 or so. Anyway, I always thought of VS girls as natural but better, was I wrong?
